Su Miaoyu laughed heartily, ecstatic. After joining the Martial Ancestor, she had finally dealt with this thorn in her side after so long. She let out a long sigh of relief, feeling much lighter. Lately, she had felt a great deal of pressure because of Long Chen. She knew very well that if she didn't deal with him promptly, endless troubles would befall her.
"Congratulations, Senior Sister Su!" the underling immediately offered upon seeing Su Miaoyu's joy.
The other man, however, was dumbfounded.
What is going on?
He quickly realized they had misunderstood him. "You've got it wrong," he said immediately. "The one who died wasn't Long Chen. It was the people we sent."
Hearing this, the laughter stopped abruptly.
Su Miaoyu's expression froze. Her gloomy eyes, looking as if they could devour a person alive, fixed on the man. She asked in a low, dangerous voice, "What did you say?"
