When Xu Qiang was grabbed and brought home by Jin Yu and Jin Ruiyang, he was on edge the whole way, seeing the gloomy expressions of his two cousins, feeling unsettled.
He nervously touched his chest, "Brother Yu, wh-what's going on?"
Jin Yu said nothing, turned his head, and gave him a sinister look, continuing to drag him forward.
Though he hadn't spoken, Xu Qiang could see the words "You're dead" in his eyes, making him even more panicked.
He quickly turned to Jin Ruiyang, who was usually easier to talk to, "Cousin Ruiyang, what's happened?"
"Small matter, don't worry," Jin Ruiyang said warmly, his gentle voice not only pleasant but also instantly soothing.
Yet Xu Qiang, perhaps frightened by Jin Yu's dark expression, found a hint of strangeness in Jin Ruiyang's soothing words, which made his hair stand on end.
If both of them were involved, how could it be a small matter?
