After the second round of "I'm the Best" at the Global Arena, there was a three-day training session for the contestants. Qin Jiran left early in the morning, only leaving behind a breakfast he specially prepared for Yanyi, kept warm in a thermal box.
On the first day of the training, Qin Jiran was approached not by one group, but by several. Most of them were reporters, along with a few directors and producers, both from overseas and domestic.
To all these invitations, however, Qin Jiran declined. "Working hours, no meetings," he said, "if it's important, please contact my assistant, Jiang Xiaobin."
Then Jiang Xiaobin started to get busy. Answering the phone became somewhat painful for him, especially the international long-distance calls. Directors trying to contact Qin Jiran numbered into the double digits, but these were obviously not what Qin Jiran was concerned about. He only wanted to do well on the show "I'm the Best" for now and consider other matters later.
