"The water is ice-cold, is that okay?"
Qiao Si handed the water to Ye Xiao. He had bought the ice water because of the hot weather, but was concerned it might be her physiological period, so he asked to make sure.
"It's fine."
Ye Xiao was about to unscrew the bottle cap when Qiao Si suddenly reached out and took the bottle back.
"What are you doing? Not letting me drink?"
Ye Xiao couldn't understand Qiao Si's actions. Clearly, he was the one who bought her the water, so why was he taking it back?
"I'll help you unscrew the cap."
Qiao Si had just seen a young couple across from them: the guy was unscrewing a bottle cap for the girl, and she was looking at him with a shy, delicate expression. He thought, this is probably what a boyfriend should do.
"No need, I can do it myself. I can at least open a bottle cap."
