"You folks aren't from around here, are you?"
The driver could tell from their accent as soon as he heard it, glanced at the map, then gave each of them a once-over.
There were five of them in total, and although Xiao Jin Jin was just a little tot, being held in someone's lap, she didn't take up much space.
Still, it was quite cramped, which is why they called for two cabs. In this one were Xie Ci, Tang Jin, and Ye Changan, while the other two girls were in the second cab.
Xie Ci responded with a 'yes', and chatted with the driver for a bit, his words betraying his anxiety.
The driver answered back, signaled a turn, and started making small talk.
"This is the old town district. All you out-of-towners, are you here for traveling or on business? Luanping has been focusing on economic development and construction these past two years, brought in a lot of people from outside, even some came to develop the tourism industry here. Funny, isn't it?"
The driver said with a chuckle.
