Chapter 561 - Chapter 561

Luffy: That's because you're bad at cooking! If Sanji made it, it'd be delicious!

Sanji: That's true. Unfortunately, I'm not in your world. Otherwise, I'd gladly show you, madam, my exquisite culinary skills.

Natasha: Why would you show off by using toads?

Nami: Ugh, now I feel gross just thinking about it.

Sanji: Ah~~ If the lady feels that way, I guess I won't cook then!

Luffy: Ehhhhh?! Noooo!!

Loki: Enough! Stop going off-topic!

Jiraiya: It's Mount Myōboku? Let's hope nothing bad happens…

Bruce Wayne: What kind of place is that? Why are there so many toads?

Jiraiya: That's one of the three great Sage Lands in the ninja world. Don't underestimate those toads—they can all use Sage Arts and are incredibly strong.

Wang: Sage Arts? Like those cultivation techniques from Huaxia?

Jiraiya: I don't know what that is, but the toads of Mount Myōboku can absorb natural energy and use Sage Arts—far more powerful than regular ninjutsu! My strength comes from their teachings.

Wang: Animals that can use Sage Arts… so they've cultivated spiritual power? Interesting.

Bruce Wayne: So those mystical creatures from Eastern myths… really do exist in some worlds.

Diana: They exist in our world too—though I'm not sure if it's the same concept.

Naruto: Dammit! So those toad elders had such powerful techniques?! Pervy Sage! Why didn't you teach me that before?!

Jiraiya: Learning Sage Arts isn't easy! But… seeing how much you've grown, you probably qualify now. Things were so hectic earlier, I forgot. Let's arrange it later.

Tsunade: Enough talking, Jiraiya! Go get that Lovecraft Pendant from Mount Myōboku!

Jiraiya: Ah! Right, I'm going now—but it should be fine as long as no one opens it… wait—huh?!

Just when everyone thought it wasn't a big deal, an alarming scene appeared before them.

The pendant had somehow opened. The glowing orb inside had already floated out.

Several toads had gathered around it, curiously gazing at it.

"Toadji, look! What a beautiful light ball!"

The big, chubby orange toad—Toadron—stared at the floating orb in awe.

"What is that thing?"

Toadji squinted suspiciously at the orb.

"No idea, but the light feels nice."

Toadji smiled as the glowing orb's rays bathed over them.

And they weren't alone—several more toads had gathered, staring up at the orb with curiosity.

Feeling its warm glow, they simply stayed still and enjoyed the sensation, completely unaware of the danger.

"Hey! What are you guys doing here?!"

At that moment, Toad Chief Gamabunta arrived. He had been resting nearby but got curious seeing so many young toads gathering.

"Dad! Whoa! What happened to all those injuries?!"

Toadji gasped upon seeing his father covered in wounds.

"It's nothing—just got banged up helping Jiraiya take down some monsters. Hurts like hell though…"

Gamabunta winced as he poked one of his wounds.

"Things are chaotic out there right now. A lot of terrifying monsters running loose. You all need to be extra careful."

Just then, his brother Gamaken appeared, also covered in cuts.

"Too bad I wasn't much help… couldn't kill too many of those monsters. Though Jiraiya called them 'Super Beasts' or something like that."

Next to him, Gamasensei muttered, "Whatever they are, they're nasty. Just thinking about eating them makes me lose my appetite."

Gamabunta scowled, then looked down at the group of little toads.

"So, what are you all doing here?"

"Dad, that glowing ball suddenly appeared up there. It feels really nice when you stand in its light."

Toadji pointed at the orb above.

"Huh?"

The three elder toads finally looked up and noticed the small floating orb.

"Feels nice? It's too small—I don't feel anything."

Gamabunta muttered, puzzled.

"Eh?! Dad! Look at your hand!!"

Toadji suddenly shouted in shock.

"Huh?"

Gamabunta looked at his hand—and his eyes widened. A huge, vicious bite wound that had been on his hand was healing on its own!

"Bunta! Your healing ability was never this fast!"

Gamaken exclaimed in disbelief.

"No way! I know my body well—this definitely shouldn't be healing so quickly!"

Gamabunta was just as shocked, unable to explain what was happening.

"Wait… it's not just me!"

Gamabunta's eyes widened as he looked over at Gamasensei and Gamaken. Their wounds were also healing rapidly.

They had all returned to Mount Myōboku to rest after being injured in battle, figuring it would take at least half a day to recover.

But now… they were healing at an unbelievable rate.

"This… it has to be because of that orb!"

Gamabunta finally made the connection and turned his gaze sharply to the glowing sphere.

All the toads around did the same.

"Damn it! The pendant opened by itself! Did it get triggered during transport?!"

Jiraiya's face twisted in horror, realizing how bad the situation had become.

"If I don't act fast, this'll turn into a disaster!"

He quickly formed hand signs, then slammed his palm on the ground.

"Reverse Summoning Technique!"

In a flash of smoke, Jiraiya vanished.

Meanwhile, the screen's conversation resumed.

Naruto: Crap! Toad Chief and the others touched the orb!

Steve Rogers: This is bad… if they keep being exposed to it, they'll mutate into monsters!

Mordo: Mutated magical toads… that's going to be horrifying.

Loki: I'll bet it's going to be disgustingly grotesque—definitely a disaster waiting to happen.

Tsunade: Jiraiya! Did you get there yet?!

Jiraiya: I've just arrived at Mount Myōboku!

Jiraiya appeared in a cloud of smoke, his eyes darting around anxiously.

"Yo, Jiraiya! What brings you here in such a rush?"

A small, elderly toad wearing a cloak hopped beside him.

"Oh, Little Jiraiya! I was just cooking. Come eat with us."

Another elderly toad approached, holding a bunch of strange-looking bugs in his arms.

Jiraiya nearly gagged at the sight.

"Cough cough! Elder Fukasaku! Elder Shima! Now's not the time—Mount Myōboku is in danger!!"
