"ROOOAAARR!!"
The Xenomorphs unleashed powerful Cosmo and launched attacks at speeds exceeding the sound barrier.
Thankfully, the Saints were able to rely on their Cloths' defense to hold their ground, preventing an immediate collapse.
But the Xenomorphs were cunning.
They quickly learned that the Saints' Cloths had incredible defensive power—
So, they adapted.
They began launching team-based assaults and stealth attacks, targeting the exposed areas not covered by the Cloths.
As a result, some Saints were wounded or even killed.
Their tactical coordination was so efficient that even the Specters found themselves shocked.
"Pegasus Meteor Fist!"
"Unicorn Gallop!"
Just then, Pegasus and Yato arrived in time—
Their powerful attacks wiped out dozens of Xenomorphs in an instant.
And they weren't alone.
One by one, Bronze and Silver Saints who had awakened the Seventh Sense surged onto the battlefield.
The tide immediately turned.
With their elevated Cosmo and battle power, these Saints completely outclassed the Xenomorphs.
Even if they were strong in groups, they couldn't match awakened warriors who had glimpsed the domain of the Gold Saints.
"Hmph. Just as expected. These creatures are decent... but when faced with opponents who've reached the Seventh Sense, they crumble quickly."
Minos stood in the distance, watching the battle with a sneer.
"Well then... it's time for you to enter the stage."
He turned and gave the signal—
Behind him stood dozens of larger, more monstrous Xenomorphs.
These Xenomorphs radiated Cosmo far greater than the rest—
Ten of them had Seventh Sense-level Cosmo.
"To raise you all, we sacrificed many Specters… and even your own kin. Now go. Show them your worth."
The elite Xenomorphs rushed into battle.
What no one realized was that Minos hadn't simply used Specters as hosts—
He had turned the training of these Xenomorphs into a gruesome gladiatorial game, forcing them to fight each other and even against Specters to learn techniques and tactics.
These were his masterpieces.
"Since when did you become such a twisted beast-breeder?"
Aiakos frowned in disgust.
He despised the Xenomorphs. After all, he'd been used as a host countless times, each experience filled with agony.
The memories of the facehuggers, of his organs being devoured to nurture the larvae—
It made him sick just thinking about it.
"Minos... if I ever catch you slipping... I swear I'll make you suffer the way I did."
He glared at Minos, eyes full of killing intent.
"Don't be so bitter. It's not like you got nothing out of it. Didn't you and Radamanthys push your Cosmo beyond its previous limits during your near-deaths? You're both stronger now."
Minos smiled coolly.
"Enough talk."
Radamanthys descended like a thunderbolt.
"We march for the Twelve Temples. This time—I will have Athena's head!"
He looked toward the Zodiac Temples with seething hatred.
If looks could kill, he would've slaughtered all the Gold Saints already.
FWOOOSH!
Without another word, the Three Judges took flight like falling stars, heading for the Twelve Temples!
"No!!"
Pegasus saw them and tried to pursue—
But in doing so, he left himself exposed.
A Xenomorph swung its tail and slammed him aside!
As he tumbled toward the ground, another one leapt out—
Its claws reached straight for his face!
SLASH!
At that exact moment, a red scarf wrapped around the Xenomorph's arm, stopping it cold.
A slender figure shot forward, delivering a flying kick that sent the monster flying.
"Idiot! Don't lose focus! These monsters time their attacks perfectly—their coordination's better than ours!"
The one who saved him was the Silver Saint Yuna of the Crane.
"Sorry... you saved my life."
Pegasus got back up, still worriedly glancing toward the Temples.
"Relax. The Gold Saints are there. The Specters couldn't breach them last time—they won't this time either."
Yuna reassured him.
"You're right. Then let's focus on clearing these monsters out!"
Pegasus reignited his Cosmo and jumped back into the fray.
Shortly after, the Twelve Temples came under attack once more.
Aries Temple
"Die, Aries!!"
Bioret unleashed a barrage of punches at Shion, trying to overwhelm him.
Shion, under heavy pressure, was forced to raise his Crystal Wall to block every strike.
"Such terrifying strength… it may even surpass Hasgard's…"
He was shocked by her raw power.
But something else troubled him—
Her Cosmo had grown significantly since their last encounter.
Suddenly, he felt his body stiffen.
"No…! That move again!"
He looked down—his legs were frozen in place.
Shadow Stitch.
"Die where you stand!"
Bioret dove from above for a finishing blow—
But Shion's eyes flashed.
With a burst of telekinesis, he blew her away without moving a finger.
"Sorry—but my psychic abilities don't require movement. You won't beat me that easily."
Shion's voice was calm.
"Tch… what a pain. But the more you fight back, the more fun the slaughter becomes."
Bioret sneered as she stood back up.
Taurus Temple
Gordon had returned—seeking revenge.
Last time, Hasgard had handled him with only moderate effort.
But this time?
Gordon's attacks were ferocious—and far stronger.
Hasgard couldn't even counter them head-on.
He was forced to dodge, constantly searching for an opening.
