As far as Qhah-el knew, Lydia was never sickly, so he thought that couldn't be the consistent state of her aura, but there's a possibility that it was.
Her earrings… although they are limiters, which are usually meant for suppressing strong abilities that are out of control… could simply be there to prevent her ability from leaking out and being discovered in case she was triggered enough that she unconsciously uses them. Thus, he couldn't cross out that possibility without checking.
"Have you been feeling unwell?" Qhah-el asked, so Lydia's brows furrowed.
"I have not, but why did you ask, Your Highness?"
"Your aura is very faint and unstable…"
"Like you're withering away," he added to check if that would alert her enough to tell him any other conditions she could be feeling, but she ignored.
'What?' Lydia thought as her brows knitted. 'How come?'
'I think I generally feel well.'
'Is the previous owner physically ill?'
'That doesn't seem to be the case.'
