Kassandra's POV
I was smiling when my envoy had reached the royal capital. The journey took us a week. Well, we dropped by in different villages on our way back here.
We help our citizens in harvesting their crops, plowing their lands, or even fishing in lakes or rivers. It was enjoyable as always. "Your Majesty!" they all screamed, waving at us.
I smiled and waved back. Arida was smiling while looking at the palace, which is thirty minutes away from us. I cough. "Did you miss him that much, hmm?" I tease.
My best friend turns her head. "Look who didn't miss her husband and children," he teases back.
That made me laugh. "I didn't say that I wasn't. I wonder how my husband handles three babies at the same time. I have to give him a reward. How about you, Arida?"
I turned my head and saw her checking the stores on our sides. I laugh. We jump off our horses, and our subordinates hold their leashes.
