Gojo stood in the heart of his own masterpiece, breathless.
'It worked'.
But before he could even savor the miracle, reality reminded him this wasn't over. Not even close.
Cyttorak's laughter rolled across the crimson horizon like the grinding of mountains. It wasn't the laugh of amusement and it was the laugh of a god who had found something rare.
"Impressive… truly impressive. I never expected to meet a newborn realm lord, a domain birthed before my very eyes.
And this… this is quality. The kind of thing that could grow into something worthy of a god.
I will give you a chance, mortal. Become my apprentice. Learn the proper ways to wield your realm and I will make you a proper god."
But Gojo barely heard him. His mind, already stretched to breaking, was focused elsewhere. Yes, he had achieved a barrierless domain, but the truth was brutal, the only reason it wasn't already destroyed was because the Crimson Destruction saw entertainment in him.
And Gojo wasn't going to bet his life on a god's mood.
The Unlimited Void began to shrink.
---
"WHAT IS THIS?!"
Cyttorak's voice thundered, his pulsing presence drawing closer like a living sun of red. The Elder God's tone shifted from intrigue to offense in an instant.
"Defiance? You dare?!"
The crimson pressure around the Void intensified, the weight of an unchallenged authority slamming down.
"You are going nowhere unless I allow it. No one goes against the will of a god least of all the most powerful of the Elder Gods!"
---
Gojo just blinked.
"Huh?"
And then it happened.
Rejection exploded out of his body.
Now that he stood within his own domain, its power was absolute and Cyttorak's influence was cut off instantly. The Void shrank faster into Gojo, the space folding into him like collapsing silk.
Pain vanished.
His injuries closed.
The burning cracks in his soul and mind knitted themselves whole.
A voice whispered in his head.
"There. That should do it."
Gojo's eyes widened. His lips parted
"Etha—"
He stopped himself.
A slow, quiet smile instead.
"…Thank you."
---
Cyttorak's manifestation shifted as he felt something only for a brief moment but couldn't tell what it was, a giant shadow forming into a humanoid titan.
"What was that?"
Gojo looked up at him, eyes gleaming.
"Unlike you, who do nothing for your host except feed him rage… I, however…"
The grin turned feral. The Unlimited Void condensed around him like a second skin, wrapping so tightly it amplified his entire being.
Click.
"Domain Amplification."
All the powers and influences pressing on him before crashed into him again. And did nothing.
"Huh. So that's how it is."
---
In an instant, Gojo blurred forward.
The Elder God's manifestation flinched in surprise but was too slow.
Gojo's hand flared and manifested a blue orb at maximum output. Instead of suppression, his technique inverted under the amplification, feeding on the red storms and monoliths that made up Cyttorak's realm, growing like a living thing as it pulled everything with such a force it felt like a black hole.
"How does it feel, Cyttorak?" Gojo's voice was razor-edged. "A mortal challenging you here, in your own realm. What would the other principalities think?"
---
The crimson god's answer came not as words, but as a wave of killing intent so heavy it made the Void itself groan.
But Gojo's amplification began to falter.
Cracks appeared along his body where Cyttorak's power forced its way in, searing flesh and spirit alike.
Still, Gojo didn't stop. He manifested a red orb instead. He teleported to the growing blue sphere still consuming the red storms.
"WAIT! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!"
The Elder God's voice was no longer calm it was furious.
"You dare! I will torment all you care for! I will tear their souls apart and burn their names from the memory of creation!"
---
Gojo's grin only widened as he shit the red orb forward and watched as the two orbs one red, one blue met. The air popped and vibrated.
"Hollow Purple."
The merged sphere glowed with a violent violet, gold light lacing through it.
Gojo's rejection stripped away every limitation, removing all resistance to its expansion. Its potency climbed past the threshold of reason.
And then—
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM.
The Crimson Waste became the Purple Waste for a heartbeat before the explosion tore it apart. The shockwave was so vast that Cyttorak's control faltered not because he was defeated, but because he refused to risk his realm being damaged even a bit.
In an instant, Gojo was ejected slammed back into his body.
---
The real world erupted. The combined force of the Unlimited Void, Cyttorak's energy, and Rejection exploded outward. The blast flung the three nearby sorcerers away and from Juggernaut, a purple light tore free combining with the other energies, bringing down such force on the world that the Mirror Dimension itself cracked, groaned, and then shattered.
Yao was the first to recover, eyes wide.
---
Juggernaut staggered upright, shaking his head. New figures stood where there had been none before.
He roared.
But the air changed.
Heat rolled in. The world bled to red and orange.
Yao turned and saw fire. Gojo's hands were moving like a conductor, weaving flames between his palms. He pulled them apart shaping a string of fire—
"MIRROR DIMENSION! NOW!"
Yao backflipped into position, opening the gateway to the mirror dimension. Juggernaut saw what could only be described as…
---
Gojo frowned. Juggernaut was still standing.
The flames hardened. A shaft appeared compressed fire so dense it warped the air.
The base was hooked around Gojo's index and middle fingers.
The arrowhead sharpened, deadly.
The frown became a smirk.
With a thunderclap, the arrow vanished reappearing inches from Juggernaut's face.
"Fire Arrow(Fuga)."
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM.
—
The explosion felt like a star breaking loose.
Fire surged in every direction, devouring the Mirror Dimension whole. The ground, whatever remained of the mountain range, the very air swallowed by temperatures in the millions of degrees.
The shockwave split the sky, boiling clouds into nothing as the world shimmered. The ground became glass in an instant before vaporizing entirely.
Yao's portal snapped open beneath Mordo and Kaecilius, dragging them to safety, while she shielded herself from the inferno's edge.
The fire climbed upward in a pillar that pierced the heavens, a roaring column of destruction that painted the entire world in shades of orange and white. The temperature spike alone warped space, distorting everything around it like heat haze magnified a thousandfold.
In moments, the Mirror Dimension was gone.
And so was the destruction it had contained within it
