The Uchiha compound had been transformed from a quiet district into a sprawling festival of lantern light, expensive sake, and the heavy perfume of roasting meats.

I had spared no expense for this shit.

Every major clan in Konoha was in attendance mingling under the paper lanterns that swayed gently in the evening breeze. Even a representative from the Hyugas who usually hated my ass for some reason were here.

Every clan of course, except the Shimura and the Sarutobi.

Ignoring the chaos and shock spreading in Konoha caused by me accepting a small army of 400 Samurais, by hosting this grand banquet inside the Uchiha compound, I was making it abundantly clear to the entire village that the Uchiha were red lines and disrespect will no longer be tolerated.

The Uchihas were my partners now and under my protection.

For years, Hiruzen and Danzo had tried to defame this clan, trying to isolate them within their police force and spread bullshit in the corners of the village.

It wasn't as extreme as the later years but the bad rumours and discord was slowly brewing between the village and the Uchiha.

Tonight though, the Uchiha were the spotlight of Konoha's social scene, and judging by the sheer relief and pride radiating from Inazumi Uchiha and his kin as they greeted their guests, the message was received loud and clear.

I expected some annoying old gezzers from the Uchiha clan to come and give me some handshakes, but today I found out that the Uchihas don't actually have a council of elders or that usual trope used in most Naruto fanfictions.

It's natural to think a large clan has a some previous generation people who advice the clan head to do this and that, but in reality, Inazumi is the undisputed clan patriarch and sole decision maker.

Which is another reason to think how weak Fugaku was as a clan head. The man failed as a leader loud and clear without this internal clan division or bullshit of the sort.

The internal clan division of the Uchihas in the later years is just the Uchihas hating Itachi's guts, and Fugaku didn't like punishing or reprimanding his son and said "Fuck yall, imma let my genocidal son kill us all just because."

Both father and son were literally insane.

Itachi be like "Damn the Uchiha clan wants to be treated fairly as the co-founders of the Leaf and the strongest clan in the village? I better MURDER my parents and all of em people and babies!"

And Fugaku be like, "Ahhhiehe MurDerrrrr!!"

So, I can't let those two either be born or become significant in this timeline. I will force the Uchihas to assign Fugaku to clean toilets or wash dishes in my restaurants instead.

Some people aren't simply compatible with having power.

Anyways, I stood near the edge of the main courtyard, the heavy black silk of my kimono with its golden dragon embroidery absorbing the light of the lanterns.

Beside me, holding a cup of sake he hadn't touched, was Kaneshiro. The GMA Deputy Director who has been a good hand throughout these years and one of my trusted friends.

"I don't think I've ever seen the Uchiha this relaxed." Kaneshiro said, his thin mustache twitching with amusement

"I can't just ignore a powerful clan like them, and they will be good to shackle those two bastards more. The Senju and Uchiha under the tip of my thumbs will gather me more unspoken power." I replied.

Kaneshiro nodded, his eyes scanning the crowd. "And you intentionally didn't invite those two, they must be fuming right now hehe."

"It won't be long and I will replace them soon. If they didn't willingly step down from power, I will use my connections to these clans to retract their ninjas from the Anbu and other forces. Least I would do is willing these clans to not send their kids to the ninja academy anymore. Scratch this, onto business. I need to talk to you about the Hero Association I mentioned to you before."

Kaneshiro immediately straightened up, his casual demeanor shifting to professional focus. "Yes, your message mentioned a new venture. Go ahead, I'm listening."

"Basically, I'm funding the entire organization myself," I explained, keeping my voice low enough that only he could hear. "I want it to be a private, legally recognized entity operating entirely within the laws and regulations of the Fire Country. The Daimyo must know about it obviously and officially approve of it. So I want you to introduce this organization as a peacekeeping force, a group of morally upright individuals who will protect the innocent. That's the whole idea behind it."

Kaneshiro rubbed his chin, his sharp mind already working through the political implications "It seems you really want to bring a moral revolution to the masses through this? Do you have the means to achieve it though? The fire country is huge, and trust is hard to come by."

"It isn't really that hard. I just need to create a PR team and my own extensive News publishing company and then I will push for certain propaganda to be spread all across the fire country. With the amount of money I have, it's a piece of cake." I explained.

"And you think all those illiterate commoners who are familiar with suffering and years of brutality to suddenly just trust your words?" Kaneshiro asked.

Kaneshiro actually liked the idea. He liked everything Garou said and did simply because he wasn't a bullshit man who hid behind pretty words. If he said something, he lead by example. And the evidence of that is all those funded schools, hospitals, roads and many public infrastructure that are under construction right at this moment all across the fire country.

Who in the entire elemental nations was insane enough to just let go of an unimaginable amount of wealth for the commoners just like that?

Even the current fire Damiyo with all his zeal towards Honor and Bushido wasn't that reckless to just spend money like that as if its water.

So imagine the shock of everyone when Garou willingly let go of that amount of wealth to serve the common people.

There are actually people out there claiming that Garou was a prophet sent from God or the Sage of Six Paths to fix this rotten world.

The amount of influence Garou was gathering around himself has received even the Shogun's attention. Even Date Masamune, the fire Damiyo had a favourable opinion of Garou, and that says something since for some reason, for years, Date didn't really like even uttering the word Hatake.

"As they say: repeat a lie frequently and it becomes the truth. Not like we will really lie when we push our agenda on civilians. So I am pretty sure after the people see the effects of Heroes at work with their own eyes, then their trust will be easy to obtain." I said and Kaneshiro nodded with a thoughtful look.

"Hmmm, then we will see if your vision will come true as you say. What do you need me to do?" Kaneshiro asked.

"I just need you to smooth things over with the Daimyo. We want the official stamp of approval for us to get to work."

Kaneshiro smiled, "Consider it done. The moment I get back to the capital, I will give him a visit." He said and I nodded.

At that moment, a sickly sweet voice cut through the noise of the banquet, "What a magnificent gathering! It's really a honor."

I didn't even have to turn around to know who it was. I turned slowly and looked down at Koharu Utatane and Homura Mitokado.

They were dressed in their finest silk kimonos, their faces adorned with elegant, welcoming smiles.

They were standing in the Uchiha compound, which they had spent years helping to marginalize, smiling at me as if we were lifelong friends. It was astonishing how quickly rats could jump ship when the boat started sinking.

"Elders," I said, my voice entirely devoid of warmth. "I didn't expect to see you here."

"But of course," Homura said smoothly, adjusting his glasses. "We wouldn't miss it. The Uchiha have always been such an integral part of the village. It warms our hearts to see them hosting such a unifying event."

Disgusting asshole.

What's holding me back from killing these two honestly?

Maybe when the assasins are ready, I will order a systematic purge.

Two days ago, these two were nodding along while Danzo talked about stripping my clan status. Today, they were kissing the Uchiha's boots because they saw which way the wind was blowing, terrified of being left behind and losing their influence as more and more clans were leaning towards me.

"Indeed," Koharu chimed in, her eyes darting toward Kaneshiro with a peculiar glint.

Okay, let's not waste time because a few more moments with them then I will deform their bodies with a few punches.

"Allow me to introduce you," I said, stepping back slightly to let Kaneshiro handle them, "This is Kaneshiro, Deputy Director of the Eastern Region for the Global Merchant Association as you know. Kaneshiro, these are Koharu and Homura, elders of Konoha."

Kaneshiro's eyes lit up with a predatory understanding. He was a merchant after all, and he could smell blood in the water just as well as I could.

I gave him a very specific mocking smile, a silent message that translated like 'Please, take care of these two greedy dumbasses.'

Kaneshiro returned my smile with a subtle nod, his mustache twitching. "Aha, the esteemed elders, I have heard so much about you. Tell me, have you ever considered investing in international trade routes? The GMA is always looking for ambitious partners."

I stepped away as Kaneshiro began to effortlessly weave his web of business propositions around them.

.

I walked through the crowd whom bowed to me the moment they saw me, the music and laughter washing over me, and grabbed another cup of tea from a passing servant who bowed.

It had been three days since the council meeting, and the Hatake compound remained silent. Sakumo hadn't come back, and hadn't even sent a message.

He had made his choice. Sakumo had chosen Hiruzen and the village over his own clan.

I didn't feel anger, just a cold disappointment.

Sakumo was a brainwashed fool. Whatever happened to him in the future was deserving of him. After all, at the end of the day, he just like any other zealous ninja, is a senseless killer that kills for no reason just because someone told him to do it.

I don't want someone like that to be close to me at all or be considered family anyways.

All these killers surrounding me all day is enough. I don't want any more.

My senses are getting sharper each day passing, and I have come to a point where I can sense the spiritual or soul state of a person very vaguely. And most of the time, I feel repulsed.

It's not a nice feeling when you can feel the true colours of a person constantly. It's disgusting.

I am afraid that at some point, I wouldn't be able to tolerate these people and just go on a killing spree.

.

Tsunade only stayed for a few moments by my side so the various powers could see her briefly as a sign that the Senjus are here too and she left for the hospital immediately afterwards.

"Just a few more things to take care of. Giving a proper plan to Tsunade so she could prevent her clan's decline, and then visit the Inuzuka to see what's up with them and finally leave this cage." I muttered.

A few days later at the Hatake Training Grounds/

The compound looked less like a clan home and more like a military encampment.

Tents were pitched in neat rows across the training fields, and the air was thick with the smell of steel and campfire smoke. Four hundred Samurais, now sworn to my service, moved with absolute discipline as they settled into their new lives.

I stood near the edge of the grounds with my arms crossed while watching them.

Shigekuni Yamamoto was already running drills with a group of them, their synchronized sword strikes echoing across the grounds.

And to be honest, their power level and techniques were ass.

They were disciplined and their movements were flawless, but it was useless. I can tell them to attack me with all they got and I could stand here all day without moving a finger and still win because they simply couldn't penetrate my body if I were serious in defending myself.

We will have to fix that, but I don't have time for that shit because I will leave soon and won't be back to Konoha for a long time. So either Dai or Katsuyu has to deal with their new training regiment I will assign for themx which is basically a waterd down version of Niko Style and some better martial arts.

Anyways, I was supposed to go visit the Inuzuka clan today to figure out what the hell their whole "Alpha" obsession was about which I didn't care about, but I was curious. My suspiciously high luck tells me something good will come out of this.

Rover sat beside me, his massive, six-eyed, black furred form panting happily. His tail wagged, kicking up dust.

At first, the Samurais freaked out when they saw Rover running towards me and some immediately ran to protect me from this "Chakra Beast" but I dismissed them and yelled to calm down. And seeing the dog-like creature stop running and sit in front of me obediently, they calmed down.

Though, some Samurais with good senses could feel how dangerous and ominous Rover was, which I couldn't blame their skepticism towards Rover because at the end of the day, Rover was a creature that one day can contend with most of the tailed beasts.

Every single day, I could feel Rover's strength increasing little by little. At this rate, then a few years and he will reach his peak.

"Alright, buddy, ready to fly?" I muttered, looking down at him. Rover tilted his head and nodded happily without really understanding what I meant.

He was just happy to be here.

I looked up at the sky, scanning the horizon until I located the approximate direction of the Inuzuka compound based on the village layout I knew. I calculated the distance, the wind resistance, and the angle.

Then, I grabbed Rover by the scruff of his neck. He let out a confused little woof, his ruby eyes blinking.

I bent my knees, channeling raw force into my legs until the muscles coiled like steel cables.

The Samurais nearest to me stopped their drills and turned their heads because they felt the sudden shift in the atmosphere and the heavy pressure gathering around my feet.

Then I jumped.

*BOOOOOOOOM!!*

The ground beneath me shattered like glass. A massive crater twenty feet deep erupted where I had been standing, sending fissures racing across the training grounds and knocking several Samurai off their feet.

"Whoahhhh!!"

"What the!!"

"Enemy attack??"

The shockwave rattled the tents and every Samurai started to yell in shock.

Before the debris even began to fall, I was already gone rocketing into the sky.

The air ripped around me as I tore through the sound barrier and the sonic boom trailing behind me like thunder!

The wind howled in my ears, but I held Rover tight, the dog's face flapping comically in the g-force.

I kept going up, the buildings of Konoha shrinking until they looked like toys.

At the peak of my arc, I hovered for just a fraction of a second.

And the view was breathtaking.

The Hokage monument stood against the mountains, the sun catching the carved faces. The Heaven's Feel district was a sprawling, golden patch of prosperity in the center of the village, and beyond it, the dense, endless green of the forests.

'Not bad.' I thought as I looked at the village I had outgrown.

Konoha was beautiful, but evil.

Then, I tucked Rover under my arm, aimed my body downward and dove.

Gravity did the rest.

I fell like a meteor as the wind screamed past me. My target grew larger and larger, and I adjusted my trajectory just slightly to hit dead center of the sprawling, dog filled compound.

Three seconds later.

*KRRRRR-BOOOOOOOOM!*

I hit the ground like a bomb.

The impact was apocalyptic and created a massive crater with fifty feet wide, caved in the center of the Inuzuka training compound, which was small, and instantly pulverizing a few unfortunate training dummies.

A shockwave of dust, dirt, and shattered cobblestone erupted outward, blowing out windows in nearby houses and sending the hundreds of dogs in the compound into a frenzy of terrified barking.

I stood at the bottom of the crater unharmed except for a tiny tingling feeling in my toes while holding a very dizzy Rover.

The dog had literal spiral lines in his glowing ruby eyes, his tongue hanging out as a little ghost floated out of his mouth for a second before being sucked back in.

I moved and stepped out of the crater slowly.

And the response was immediate.

*Swoosh! Swoosh! Swoosh!*

Dozens of ninjas, clad in the standard Konoha flak jackets and bearing the red fang markings of the Inuzuka clan, burst from the surrounding buildings.

They were accompanied by their Ninken of various breeds. They surrounded the crater with weapons drawn and eyes wide with a mixture of battle readiness and shock.

They couldn't see the person responsible for thiw commotion yet through the thick cloud of dust, but their sharp senses were screaming at them.

*Step Step Step.*

I walked out of the dust cloud, my massive frame slowly materializing from the smoke. The golden dragon on my black kimono caught the morning light, and my red bloodshot eyes scanned the crowd.

Yes, my eyes permanently changed to red with bright yellow pupils some days ago due to the constant mutations happening to my body.

Rover let out a small, groggy woof as I put him down.

The Inuzuka ninjas took an instinctive step back. Their dogs whimpered and some of them actually lowered their heads and bared their bellies in submission the moment they catched the sight of me.

"G-Garou-sama!" one of the ninjas stuttered, sweat pouring down his face. He immediately lowered his kunai then turned towards his comrade, "Go call the Clan Head! Tell her Garou-sama is here! Now!"

The comrade nodded quickly and vanished in a blur of Body Flicker.

I just waited, dusting off my shoulders.

It took less than ten seconds.

*Swoosh!*

A familiar woman with long brown hair and red fang markings on her cheeks appeared in a blur, landing gracefully in the courtyard. It was Kai, the Inuzuka Clan Head.

She was dressed in her shinobi gear... and she was practically vibrating with excitement. Her face was lit up with a wide eager smile as she saw me.

"Fenrir-sama!" she cried out, taking a step forward, her body language screaming absolute adoration.

"What a weird woman." I muttered as I heard her call me by a name of a mythological creature.

Did some version of the norse wolf Fenrir exist in the past of this world? Food for the thought. Maybe later I will look into what kind of myths in this world existed.

Kai was about say something again but her words died in her throat.

She stopped dead in her tracks and her eyes widened.

She completely ignored me and her gaze dropped immediately towards the dizzy dog who was slowly coming back to his senses, his six ruby eyes blinking back into focus.

Kai's breath hitched and the hairs on her arms stood on end and her pupils dilated. Her dog, which had been cowering suddenly perked up too, their noses twitching frantically.

She took a tentative step closer, leaning in and completely hypnotized by the black-furred beast beside me.

Her eyes traced the shaggy fur, the unnatural muscles rippling beneath it, and the residual, terrifying aura of a true monster that Rover was leaking.

"Alpha??" she whispered, her voice trembling with a reverence that was almost religious.

I looked at her, then at Rover, who had just snapped out of his daze and was now trying to lick his own butt.

"Oi, dog girl, focus." I said, my voice flat as I snapped my fingers in front of her face.

This woman is giving me the creeps.

'Is she.. into dogs or something?' I thought as I looked at her expression while unconsciously taking a step back in my mind.

Kai blinked rapidly, snapping out of her trance. She shook her head, her face flushing bright red as she realized she had been staring.

"A-ah! Forgive me Fenrir-sama!" She bowed deeply, her previous excitement returning but now mixed with a new intense curiosity about my pet, "Welcome to the Inuzuka clan! Please come follow me!"

She immediately turned and gestured for me to follow her, practically tripping over her own feet in her eagerness.

By the way, I have practically turned off my nose since the smell here was unbearable because of these dogs around us, which most of them were strays being taken care of by Inuzuka.

As I followed Kai, the surrounding ninjas kept a very wide and respectful distance as we walked toward the main mansion.

'Let's see what kind of shit my luck pulled this time,' I thought as I stepped into the clan's main building.

The interior of the Inuzuka mansion was a stark contrast to the chaotic, dog filled courtyard outside. The room I was led to was traditional, with polished wooden floors and sliding shoji screens, though the faint smell of wet dog still lingered in the fabric of the cushions.

I sat down heavily on the mat used by the the Inuzuka clan head without taking her permission. Rover sprawled out next to me, resting his massive head on my thigh while his six ruby eyes curiously analyzed the room.

Kai didn't care and dropped to her knees, bowing so deeply her forehead nearly touched the floor.

"Thank you for gracing our clan with your presence, Fenrir-sama!" Kai said, her voice carrying a hint of that weird reverence as usual.

I said with my voice flat, "Before we go any further, drop the 'Fenrir-sama' nonsense. My name is Garou."

Kai quickly straightened her posture, her eyes shining. "Yes, Garou-sama."

I rubbed my temple, "Now, explain it to me. The Alpha thing. Why are you acting like I'm the second coming of the Sage of Six Paths?"

Kai took a deep breath, her hands resting on her thighs, "Actually, I think there is a kind of misunderstanding here Garou-sama, but first, let me explain."

"..." I gestured for her to continue as I lazily looked at her eyes.

"We are bonded to our Ninken and our senses are intertwined with theirs. This gives us incredible tracking abilities, but it also heightens our primal instincts."

She looked at me, "For generations, we've had to choose an Alpha from within the clan based on strength alone. But they were always just... substitutes. Because none of them possessed the True Alpha instinct, the particular presence that forces our blood to submit and unites the pack completely."

"And I have that?" I asked with curiosity.

"I used to think that, but when I looked at this fascinating dog beside you..." She paused and looked at Rover with a wide smile.

I gave my silly dog a glance, and Rover was licking his balls much to my disgust.

I immediately pushed him away from my thighs much to Rover's confusion.

"That creature next to you... it radiates the aura of an apex predator. Up until now, I have been thinking you are Fenrir, but I think it was a misunderstanding, and this dog is the true Alpha." Kai said as she tried really hard to not approach Rover and touch him.

I looked down at Rover with a raised eyebrow. "So basically, I have picked up the scent of this dude since he is always with me, and you misunderstood me of being some pack leader?" I asked skeptically as I found many holes in this bullshit of hers.

"Yes Garou-sama." Kai nodded.

"Hmmm, okay, so? What do you want me to do? I am not handing Rover to you." I said.

"No no no! Please don't jump into conclusion Garou-sama, we don't want to own... Rover... but if it's possible, we want him to stay inside our compound." Kai said pleadingly.

I looked at her cute eyes for some moments as I thought about what I should do.

Honestly, again, sometimes I have suspicions of my high luck. Things are falling into my lap in a silver platter too easily because just look what I am about to say and let's see the reaction...

"I understand that you have certain... instincts you can't control, but honestly, I don't give a shit. So let's not beat around the bush doggy, I can lend you Rover and become some sort of pack leader or... guardian beast... but I am a businessman, not a saint. So, what can you give me in return?" I asked as I leaned back and put my hands in front of me as I looked her.

"Anything," Kai said instantly without hesitation.

That was fast. See? That's what I am talking about when I say everything goes my way for some reason.

Or maybe am I underestimating my political power and fame?

"Huh? Define anything." I said.

"We will swear our loyalty to you for as long as you are alive. And if you need man-power, political backing, or anything that doesn't existentially harm the Inuzuka, we will try to be of help." Kai said with a serious tone.

Hmmm, now that I think about it, some Inuzuka as heroes can look cool now that I think about it.

And it seems this girl isn't as stupid as she seems.

Now that the political landscape was heavily leaning towards me, she used this Alpha bullshit as a way to form a bridge between us.

"If Hiruzen or Danzo find out that this clan has sworn loyalty to me, their treatment towards you will turn worst, but it seems you have made up your mind in which side you are on. Pretty decisive. I didn't expect intelligence coming from this clan." Kai's lip twitched at my remark.

"As expected of Garou-sama, nothing can go past you." She bowed her head a little.

"I am leaving Konoha in a matter of days and travel around the land of fire and maybe beyond. Therefore, for the duration of my absence, Rover will stay here as per the agreement." I nonchalantly said.

Kai's eyes shot to the massive black dog, and she let out a gasp, "seriously?!"

"Feed, train, and protect him. Don't let Hiruzen adn Danzo catch a sight of him until he becomes stronger to protect himself. That's all I ask for now."

Kai looked like she was about to cry from joy. Rover let out a deep rumbling woof while tilting his head, trying hard to understand us.

"Thank you Garou-sama! I promise that I will take of him personally and train him!" Kai said excitedly.

I looked around the room one last time as I stood up, "Now, I have a business to run. I'll send word when I need you."

"Yes!"

"Hey Rover, buddy." I called Rover who for some reason started was running in circles.

Rover stopped immediately and sat down as his six eyes looked back at me intensely.

"I will be gone for some time, and I want you to stay with this woman who will take care of you. Behave until I come back, we cool?" I said.

*NOD NOD NOD!!*

Rover nodded really fast.

Stupid dog, but at least he is obedient.

I turned my head towards Kai who barely reached chest, "Anything I ask for in the future, you don't question me and just do, we clear?" I said with my eyes narrowed.

"Don't worry Garou-sama! I will meet your demands as best as I can." She replied.

"Good. If I find that you have gone back on your words..." I released a tiny beat of Hado and Kai immediately started to shiver and her face started to sweat.

Upon sensing that chilling pressure that felt like death, Kai began to doubt her own gamble of siding with this man instead of Hiruzen.

The first time she saw Garou in the council meeting, all of her senses went haywire in alarm to run as far away from him as possible.

But ignoring the fact that Garou was a reputable and influential figure, it was that same feeling of dread that convinced Kai to side with him instead of Hiruzen, because whatever or whoever Garou was, she didn't absolutely wanted him to become her enemy.

So she came up with this solution of creating this Alpha story in hopes that maybe he will buy it. But she didn't actually expect Garou to bring a creature that somehow was really an Alpha.

Imagine her surprise and delight at how easy her job became and just pinned her hopes on creating this bridge between Inuzuka and the Hatakes through Rover.

And it seems Garou himself didn't really care about the matter, as if finally finding someone who could take care of his dog for him.

"I can make your whole clan experience a living hell if I wanted to, so push down your little lies and schemes with me and be obedient like the good dogs you are, we clear?" I said without showing much emotion because did she really think this whole Alpha lies was gonna fool him?

Kai gulped, and nodded her head while looking down at her feet in embarrassment.

*pat.*

Much to her surprise, I patted her head, "Don't worry doggy, I know that you want what's best for your people, so I will help you out a little like I did for those other clans, but don't expect charity. You still have work to do."

"I understand Garou-sama." Kai nodded with a blush.

I continued patting her head with my huge hand, "Good girl."

And with that, I left the room with her following me from behind.

When I was outside, I approached the crater I made previously when I came here.

Putting some force into my legs, I jumped and left while creating a huge commotion with wind and tornadoes picking up from my jump much to the shock of every ninja there who had their mouths wide open as they looked at me fly away.

The End

[Okay so, spoilerssss, I want to say that Garou will exactly go through 2 more fights maximum and will finally become planetary level. And those two fights, one of them will happen in maybe the next five or six chapters, and the other will happen in maybe 10 or 15 chapters. Both of the fights are top tier shit I am brewing and will be good stuff if I really poured my heart into it, especially the second battle where he will be pushed into planetary.]

[Some will say this story is slowly getting dropped or something, but no, I ain't dropping this but my man, I am going through a very introverted period of my life. I lack passion, enthusiasm and anything of the sort without knowing why. Also, writing is a hassle when you lack passion, and more of a hassle when you are doing it for free. So, you really need a good amount of "For the love of a the game," Energy to continue writing stuff. Being an Author is seriously hard, I am sure those who write fics understand.]

[Btw, most things regarding plot for this fic is already decided until its end, so I am not experiencing a writer's block. I am just lazy.]
