Chapter 333 - Landmarks and Directions

Chapter 333 Landmarks and Directions

Aleshia was pleased to hear how the staff treated Rey and her group, letting them enjoy a meal at a nice restaurant together without the usual pressures of class and manners. She recalled past experiences of attending social gatherings that often felt more formal and overwhelming than enjoyable and friendly.

It was reassuring to hear that the staff were friendly and welcoming, helping regardless of anyone's race. Aleshia felt confident that if anyone asked her for a recommendation on good places to eat, she would easily share this one near the top of her list.

After hearing such great things about the restaurant from Rey, Aleshia asked for directions so she could visit it. "You have really got my interest in the restaurant. Can you give me directions? It sounds like a wonderful place to eat, and I would love to try it at least once in my life," Aleshia said.

Rey was eager to share the directions to Aleshia and provided her with a detailed explanation of the location. Aleshia quickly realized that the restaurant was situated in a nice part of the city as Rey continued to describe various landmarks that would guide her to the city square, through the market, and to an area near the nobles' quarters.

As Rey described the decorations at the Butterfly Blossom, she recalled and recommended several stalls that had caught her group's attention. "There were many stalls selling meat, but one in particular stood out to us. It offered lamb and a variety of other meats that smelled delicious, but the vendor wouldn't reveal what the food consisted of, so we never found out what we had bought. Oh yeah, some other stalls had merchants selling unique foods that they claimed were from the sea, although they looked nothing like the fish you had cooked a while ago."

As the discussion was wrapping up, Aleshia thanked Rey for the directions and recommendations. After chatting for a while and sharing her thoughts, she said her farewells. After waving goodbye one last time, she left the two of them and continued her somewhat aimless stroll.

As Aleshia walked down the corridor, she checked in on the different rooms to see how the kids were doing. In each room, there was a sense of peacefulness that reminded her of what Tristan had said. She wanted to remember all the faces at the camp. As she continued her walk, she chatted with Lucia again. "That sounds like a nice place to eat, doesn't it, Lucia?" she asked, her spirits sinking.

Lucia could sense the turmoil inside Aleshia, and she wanted to help her feel better. Lucia bounced on top of her head, signaling her agreement. "Yeah, that does sound like a good idea. I'm pretty sure I can find a way to discreetly eat the food without raising any suspicion or alarm among the patrons and staff."

Aleshia paused, surprise evident in her voice as she asked, "Wait, you can eat things? I thought you were just a magical witch hat."
