Andy pressed the accelerator, moving the jeep straight at the creature. He wasn't thinking properly.
"What the hell. Shit, don't do it! It's gonna kill us!!" Kaila screamed.
"Oh fuck, fuck," Andy muttered.
"Holy shit," both Xin and Kaila screamed like children. Andy, without hesitation, drove the jeep towards the creature. It screamed in pain as Andy managed to run over it. He knew this thing wasn't going to die soon.
"Guys, don't act like shit. We have to get out of here. They aren't that strong. They're just like animals, but with extra features," Andy said, terrified. The jeep was finally on the road at full speed.
"Finally, we are safe. Man, I was not prepared for this shit," Xin said.
"Huh? Prepared? How are you gonna prepare for this? Do you have weapons, you idiot?" Kaila replied.
"No, but I know how to fight, better than you," Xin said.
"Fuck your fighting. You just beat up some juniors from your school and you say you're a fighter?"
"Guys, are you serious right now? We just literally witnessed a monster and you're talking about that?" Andy interrupted.
"Yeah, yeah, whatever," Xin said.
"Wait! Where the fuck is your shotgun you mentioned earlier, Andy?" Kaila asked.
"It might be in the very back, but it's not a thing anymore. We're safe," Andy said.
"Wait, dude, you had a shotgun this whole fucking time? And you didn't use it?" Xin asked.
"He said he had it in his jeep. I don't see it anywhere, though. But still, we're safe now, and we're going back home. It doesn't matter anymore," Kaila replied.
The only sound on the road was the jeep's engine. It wasn't night yet, but everything was pitch black. The heavy rain caused the forest to look that dark.
[One hour later, there was still heavy rain, and they were in the middle of the highway, unsure where they were.]
"What's the time right now?" Kaila asked.
"Let me check my phone. Wait. Oh no," Xin replied.
"What?"
"My phone was in my bag, and shit, I left it in the shop."
"What? You left it there? What are we gonna do? Wait, my phone isn't in my pocket. Mine was also left in my bag! FUCK!" Kaila exclaimed.
"Relax, guys. I also left my phone and other valuables back at the shop. But we had no choice. We had to run, or else we'd be dead meat," Andy replied.
"Well, I think that makes sense. But we can get it back from your shop, right?" Xin said.
"Yeah, but I'm not 100% sure about it. We left it wide open, and everything is still open. Also, the window got broken because of that monster."
"Then it's gone for sure," Xin replied.
"Xin, you fuck. You think it's fun? We literally lost our phones. I had everything there, and how am I gonna manage my client calls and others?" Kaila said, frustrated.
"Relax, if you have your PC at home, we can surely get another one maybe," Xin said with a smile.
"... You.. Ugh," Kaila replied.
"Guys, I think we have to stop here," Andy said.
"Why? What happened?" both Xin and Kaila asked.
"The jeep is running low on gas, and it's gonna stop anytime now."
"Haha, can't get any worse. We are stopping right in the middle of nowhere, and we don't have any map, phone, or anything with us. This is my best day," Xin said, laughing.
"Shut up, you idiot. What are we gonna do now? Do you have any plans, Andy?" Kaila asked.
"Nope, I'm not even sure where we're going or where we are," Andy replied.
"That's awesome, dude. I'm very much enjoying this," Xin replied.
Kaila looked at Xin with an angry face.
"Will you shut your mouth, you idiot? We are serious here."
"Chill, sis. I know, but what are you gonna do? Call for help?"
It was already a mess. They were stuck on the highway with nothing. It was clear they had to walk or risk getting killed if another monster arrived. They started to move out of the jeep and prepared to walk in the heavy rain outside.
"Wait, what's that light? It's coming straight at us," Andy said.
"Yeah, it looks like a truck," Xin said.
"Finally, we are saved again," Kaila said.
The truck got closer and closer. It finally stopped in front of them. An old guy from the truck window looked outside.
"Hey, you kids, do you need any help or something?" the old guy asked.
Xin, Kaila, and Andy were finally relieved. They knew they could get back safely.
"Yes, sir. Our jeep doesn't have gas, and we need your help," Andy said.
[Scene fades to darkness]
Amy was tired, and she didn't know what to do. She could see a deadly creature with dark red eyes looking at her. She had to be strong. She couldn't go back to that place again. They would do the same thing to her if she went back. "I know this creature can't see me, but it can hear. I have to be quiet," she said.
"Where the fuck is that bitch? You guys can't find a girl?" a guy shouted.
Suddenly, the creature screamed and jumped towards the sound in front of Amy. She was scared, but she stayed quiet and observed. The creature attacked the men with its disturbing sounds. Amy looked at the scene; it was horrible.
"This is my chance. I have to run," she thought to herself.
