In a daze, Diana ignored the thousands of messages and called her secretary; for now, she desperately wanted to shift her focus from Lucian to something else. The scenes with her son kept playing in her mind.
"Why have you been- " Before Diana could ask anything, an urgent and despairing female voice came from the other side, interrupting her.
"M- Mam, i- it's ruined… everything is gone. N- Nothing is left... sob sob," after speaking, the secretary began to cry. Diana frowned. She had known her secretary for so many years, and she was a strong woman. No matter how difficult times became, she never cried.
"Calm down first and tell me exactly what happened. Is there some problem at your home?" Diana asked, taking a deep breath.
