The morning sun streamed through the dorm window as Melisa got dressed.
Raven had left for her daily jog an hour ago, leaving Melisa alone with her thoughts. The past few days had been a whirlwind. Dinner with Aria had turned into several more dinners, and now Melisa was left with the question:
[Am I dating the queen? Is that actually my life now?]
A knock at the door interrupted her thoughts.
Melisa opened it to find Rakia in a Syux Academy uniform, the skirt somehow shorter than regulation and the top unbuttoned just enough to show cleavage.
"Oh, Rakia. Good morni—mmph!"
Rakia kissed her before she could finish, pushing into the room and kicking the door shut behind her.
When she pulled back, her grin was absolutely devious.
"I'm living next door! Isn't that wonderful? We're going to be neighbors!"
"That's... great?" Melisa's brain was still catching up. "Did you just move in?"
