People filled the entrances and administration block as tv reporters covered them at all sides, the security was finding it difficult to control the crowd as they came in and in.
It was spreading fast like wildfire all across Asia and other countries about the popular school in Country V, every student wanted to be enrolled in that college not only because it was affordable at the beginning but because of the great opportunities it offered to its students. BLUE WHEEL university was having a grand opening tonight yet people started coming into the huge compound since morning just to either get a glimpse of the most talked about head or to be enrolled in the institution.
" sister….will we even get inside?" A little girl asked her sister for the tenth time and she sighed before hugging the little girl. They had been outside for almost five hours since they got here, they had been planning and saving up for this day since social media trended with the school for two years now and they couldn't even get past the crowd.
" But of course cupcake!" She managed to say it happily to her sister and tickled her, kissing her head and cheeks continuously making the girl laugh and giggle. " we just need to get pass this people and then we get to meet him!!" She exclaimed again and both smiled, gaining hope all over again only to be shattered again or maybe.
They kept on fighting each other to get inside the compound since night was coming and placed turned even lively with all the music coming from the walls of the college, making want to get into the place more than before.
Mi-soo struggled with her crazy strength with others tried to cross her and sister just because they were poor and females, she was intentionally pushed away from the queue and she lost her balance. She screamed when she realized that her fall could be brutal and there was no doubt she would fall and probably break a bone or two, when she prepared herself for the fall which never came. Her heart pounded in her chest as she felt a warm arm around her waist…. Her skin because her blouse had rolled up, making a skin contact and she opened her eyes and all things faded away when she saw those blue eyes staring down at her.
The ceremony started with all the richness and charm, the hall looked like a stadium from afar and it had lots of seats encircling the whole place with the huge podium in the middle, tall and decorated for the occasion.
People swarmed in like fishes sensing something sweet and Mi- soo held on to her sister firmly, else she would loose her fragile sister and she would surely die even before she was found among the crowd.
They felt like they had been given the chance to see a god or celebrity in fact the whole place and air felt like she had attended a concert of her favorite K-pop idols which she would never attend given her current status.
Yet she kept dreaming and the whole place became noisy when the MC of the nights program entered with his hands held up and a wide smile on his face and he smelled of riches as he walked and addressed the audience, he seemed to be very popular because everyone cheered up for him with his name and she didn't even know. She just arrived in country v in the morning, she had run away from home…. Not anymore because that place seized being home when her uncle took over their small house in the south and here she was!
So many artists were invited for the program and they enjoyed every moment of it to the fullest, the entry was free with no gate fees or ticketing, yet they couldn't even afford to buy popcorn or even the fliers yet they enjoyed themselves, seeing so many artists for the first time in their lives was just….amazing.
" I thought you weren't gonna come Bro!" An excited voice came making the latter jott up before glaring at him. " am I not allowed in my own program Rex?" The man in black suit asked after making himself comfortable again in the couch in the dark room. " well of course! I just thought you wouldn't want to show your face….yet?" Rex said when he came to stand in front of his friend, they had known since childhood yet he still couldn't understand the man seated in front of him, sometimes he felt as if he didn't know him at all, " I think I saw your brother here, is he planning on enrolling here" Rex asked with wide eyes and the latter sighed looking up at Rex with a tired expression before he opened his mouth but nothing came out.
" I don't care who comes Rex, you should know that already by now? He's not going to be treated any different because he's my brother and know one must even know about me " he said and his friend nodded before looking at him with pity, he was the master mind behind all this yet he couldn't even say a word.
His home that was once filled with what he called love was now blooming with something opposite…..he understood the saying very well, he was just so small yet he faced a lot, he didn't talk much and so everyone thought he was okay but he was suffering inside. He sighed as the maids greeted him when he entered the mansion, this place was his kind of hell and no one would ever understand and there she was! Standing there with her head down, she was warned and punished so many times for just looking at him from a distance and he wandered why.
Her red hair had become shorter than he knew with grey visible, her voice and her scent filled his nose as he passed by her, his blue eyes couldn't resist looking at her, like a magnet pulling iron and he stopped. " Can I have a milkshake made by you?" He asked warmly his eyes brightened up when she raised her head to look at him—
" Shouyen! My love…. When did you get here?" Another feminine voice which made him frown but he turned around anyway and smiled at her, " Mother! Your looking lovely " he said with a smile as he went to her. " well you look tired, is school killing you?" Mrs. Gu asked with concern as she inspected the boy, he dressed normal as usual with just white shirt and black trousers with a pair of white sneakers, his reddish brown hair was neatly done, covering his forehead as he hugged Mrs. Gu and she smiled rubbing his broad back softly before she pulled him inside.
" Where's my baby brother?" Shouyen asked her when they entered the hall and he was shocked to see his brother seated and playing his video game his brown hair was held in a messy bun and he was still in his pajamas when it was already noon.
" I don't even know why you're looking for me when you don't even call or come home " an annoyed tone of the man seated in the corner of the hall was heard. He turned to look at Shouyen, his light blue eyes stared back at him with a frown on his face while Shouyen sighed rubbing the back of his head.
"Can you forgive me?" Shouyen asked softly his blue irises pleading yet his brother stood up and walked out of the hall, " How many times have I heard this!!" He said while climbing the stairs leisurely and Shouyen only shook his head, he loved his brother deeply yet he felt insecurity, his mother clearly loved him more than the younger one and sometimes he feels like his brother hates him, like the love had turned to hate, he's always angry about everything at all and he just didn't want to hurt anyone.
