Chapter 76 - Chapter 76: Return of The Tyrant King

"So Temune is the true identity of "Earth"? I have to say I find it hard to believe that the kind hearted "Earth" was once a blood thirsty tyrant. Though I suppose that would explain why he was unwilling to talk about his past." Toro said.

"I felt so ashamed of the way I used to act when I was king. The day I joined the 7 Elements I vowed that I would never return to the man that I once was. That is why I refused to use my old name." "Earth" said as he made his way back to his feet. "When I look at my wife and daughters I feel that I made the right decision."

"Oh trying to give some sort of ill advised last stand? If I were you I'd just lie there and die in peace."

"Well I'm not like you, you worthless piece of trash." Temune said as he attacked again. "I said that I was content to leave my old ways in the past, but perhaps I need to do so just one last time."

"My love, I hope you can understand why I must do this." He thought as he thought of his wife.

"His aura and demeanor is totally different than usual." Toro commented. "His power is going through the roof. He must have been holding back his true power this whole time."

"I will use my greatest attack!"

"Tomb of the Ten Kings!!!!!!!!!!!!"

At Temune's attack ten massive stone statues emerged from the ground.

"Oh? What is this supposed to be?" The Minister asked, seemingly unimpressed by Temune's fully unleashed power.

"This is the Tomb of the 10 Kings. It's a technique that allows me take the power of the former Kings of Omori from the ground and use their powers at will." Temune explained.

"I find that hard to believe. Your ability is a simple earth manipulation ability. Such a complex technique is out of the range of your ability."

"You'll see what the true range of my ability is."

The ten stone giants moved to attack but they seemed to only have simple attacks that were still easily avoided and repelled by the Minister.

"Oh my. It seems that though you've grown more boastful, you still aren't a threat to me." The Minister said with a feigned yawn. "It seems your so called power up was nothing but bluster and bluffs."

"Hahahaha!" Temune had burst into a fit of laughter.

"What has your impending defeat caused you to go mad? It's unfortunate, but this isn't the first time I've seen it happen. I suppose I should go ahead and put you out of your misery."

"Yes that's exactly it. It was a bluff, and you fell for it hook, line, and sinker."

"Hmm? What are you saying?"

"Even my so called "Ultimate Attack" was just a bluff. Just like you said my ability isn't able to harness the power of past kings."

"Of course it isn't, but why even bother making such a blatant bluff?"

"Because even if I wasn't capable of such a technique it's still true that you underestimated the scope of my ability. And you've already been struck by my true Ultimate Attack." Temune said confidently. "Your own special ability allows you to warp space time. Any attack that's about to hit you gets warped away. You can also sever a space by eliminating the space between your target. Essentially, you have any impenetrable defense and an unavoidable offense. Many would say that such a powerful ability is unbeatable."

"You're absolutely right. So how can you beat me when your own ability boils down to throwing around rocks." The Minister said as he picked up a rock off the ground and crushed it in his hand.

"You'll see pretty soon. You've already lost."

"Tch, enough of your bluster! I'll finish this now!" The usually aloof Minister shouted as Temune was starting to get on his nerves.

The Minister had made a move to finish the fight with a single attack, but suddenly he became unable to use his ability.

"What? What did you do to me?"

"You should know that there exists a certain rock on a certain planet. It's a black rock that seals away aura and while you were focused on talking to me I wrapped your feet in this material."

"What?"

"Though your technique immediately warps any attack away from you, this wasn't technically an attack so I was able to catch you easily."

"You can't really expect me to be held in this trap for long do you?"

"No, but both you and your aura will be sealed away long enough for me to finish this fight."

"Petrification Blade!!!!"

A stone blade emerged from the ground and struck Ronb. Immediately he started to turn to stone and eventually he crumbled away. With this, "Earth" had won his battle and given the coalition forces a 7-6 lead in the tournament. They would only need to win one more match to win the War Festival and finally defeat the Empire.
