Ren arrives early, 7:55 AM.
Cherry blossoms line the hospital entrance. Petals falling across clean white steps.
Contrast: Beauty outside, sickness inside.
**Ren (internal):**
*Last time I was here, I was covered in Aoi's blood. Waiting to hear if she'd survive.*
*Six days ago. Feels like months.*
Enters through automatic doors.
### **Hospital Lobby**
Clean. Sterile. Antiseptic smell
**Hana already waiting** near vending machines.
She sees Ren, waves.
**Hana:** *"You're early."*
**Ren:** *"So are you."*
**Hana:** *"I've been here since seven. Couldn't sleep."*
**Ren:** (notices dark circles under her eyes) *"You okay?"*
**Hana:** (deflects) *"I should ask you that. You look less dead than Friday."*
**Ren:** *"Slept twelve hours."*
