Chapter 46 - Chapter 46 - Virtual vs Reality Part 1

Sasaki's arms widened with pride, and he immediately pulled his sons into a tight embrace. Overwhelmed by their achievements in mastering every skill of their demonic technique, tears welled up in his eyes. He mused aloud, "I am proud of you, sons. You made me proud. I cannot describe this feeling through words, but feel this embrace and the beating of my heart which convey this feeling."

The dilemma about someone discovering the cave melted away as he saw the progress of his sons. Kuro, who was learning the Demonic Mirage Technique, gave Sasaki a sudden inspiration. His mind raced with an idea to solve his current dilemma with Kuro's help, and at the same time, he could test Kuro's power.

Sasaki looked at his sons with pride, knowing they had all mastered their skills and formed new Chaos rings. He turned to Kuro, his eyes filled with confidence in his son's abilities. "Kuro, I need your help to hide our cave. Use your Demonic Mirage technique to create an illusion so strong that no one can find us," Sasaki said.

Sasaki and his three sons are now much stronger and they can annihilate most of the race from this world, but Sasaki which did not belong to this world do not want this confidence become over confidence, because for him, every knowledge come from either mind place or from The One, in reality he does not experience any thing yet know because most of his time he spent time in seclusion either training himself or training his sons, in reality he did not experience the world with his own eyes and the only truth he knew was convey by some unknown power, so Sasaki do not want to take a risk which could lead to his demise. That's why Sasaki always take very steps cautiously.

Kuro nodded, understanding the importance of the task. His demonic mirage technique was a lost secret art, and even high-level mages would not be able to detect it. Only demi-gods and gods might have a chance, but Sasaki knew they would not come to the island without reason.

Kuro nodded, his eyes gleaming with determination. "Yes, Father. I will make it so even high-level mages won't be able to see it."

Sasaki smiled, "Good. Your skill is a lost secret art. No mortal in this world knows it, so it will be impossible for anyone to discover our cave. Only demi-gods and gods might detect it, but they won't come here because I haven't done anything to draw their attention."

As Sasaki gave Kuro the task, he noticed Goro and Shiro looking a bit disappointed. They wanted to help too but felt they couldn't be of use right now. Sasaki understood their feelings. He smiled warmly and placed a hand on each of their heads, ruffling their hair in a playful manner. "Don't worry, your time will come soon," he said reassuringly. "I'm proud of all of you. You've done great."

All of them now went to the area where Sasaki had closed the entrance by destroying it and covered it with rocks and debris. It was only a temporary measure, as anyone with detection skills could still sense the presence of Sasaki, Goro, Kuro, and Shiro. For now, luck was on their side. No one had visited the island in years. This distant and secret island was only known by a few nobles and secret assassin groups who disposed of bodies here, just like they had done with Sasaki's previous body.

But Sasaki didn't want to take any risks. For him, precaution was better than cure. He also wanted to check Kuro's progress and understand how the lost skills of demons looked in the past. Now, he would witness it with his very own eyes.

Sasaki understood chaos energy and his skills better than ever. With the formation of the 10th chaos ring and mastery over shadow techniques, his unity of mind and body, and the flow of various secret arts, he could now activate skills with mere thought. Previously, to use the Plague Bullet, he needed to form a specific hand gesture like a hand gun and could fire only one bullet at a time, but now things had changed.

Standing far from the entrance, he commanded his sons to step back. Raising his hand in line with the entrance, he snapped his fingers. Instantly, six shadow bullets appeared behind him. They looked like black orbs, dark as pitch, seemingly emerging from nothing and floating in the air.

With a swift, confident motion, Sasaki extended two fingers and made a downward swipe. The shadow bullets obeyed his command, shooting forward in a straight line. They tore through the air with a hiss, colliding with the rocks at the entrance and blasting them to dust.

"Alright, Kuro, show us what you've got," Sasaki said, a mix of anticipation and pride in his voice.

Kuro stepped forward and exited the cave, turning to face the entrance from the outside. This was the first time Goro, Kuro, and Shiro had stepped outside the cave in a year. They felt the fresh air, the breeze gently caressing their cheeks as if whispering secrets. All three brothers closed their eyes, momentarily lost in thought, and enjoyed the beautiful forest and the warm rays of the sun touching their faces.

Sasaki watched the smiles on their faces as they enjoyed nature for the first time. He didn't want to disturb them, knowing they had spent the past year training and surviving without experiencing the outside world. He sat on a rock, a happy smile dancing on his lips, and he, too, briefly lost himself in the beauty of nature.

For a few moments, everything felt peaceful. The sounds of the forest, the rustling leaves, and the gentle whispers of the wind created a serene atmosphere. Sasaki took a deep breath, feeling the tranquility of the moment. His heart swelled with pride and joy as he watched his sons, knowing that they were not only growing stronger but also finding happiness in the world around them.
