Kazuki sat down as he leaned back against one of the crates while opening the red envelope, after setting down the purple book.
"Hehe, never thought about leaving a written heritance before, but even I never imagined to be alive this long, due to that damn fountain of youth."
"Whoever is reading this and having found this island, then this isn't a coincidence. If what I visioned is true, then this world needs a protector again."
"If I could, I would, but my strength has declined through the millennia's along with me just…"
"I'm tired… all my students are long gone, even their monstrously, powerful bloodline has thinned out and died, as far as I know."
"It's selfish, but I also wish to rest but... I just feel compelled to leave something, a way for the future protectors to gain strength if the world is in danger."
"This island is home to the KA-ME house, the safest place in the world, no one can just come to this island. It has to bring you here."
"All due to my wish from the long gone eternal dragon, a long long time ago. I'm glad I did it then, especially with the changes that's been stirring the world up lately."
"Even heard about 20 kingdoms making up this thing called the world government, the roseward, donquixote, Figarland, Shepherd, Manmayer, Marcus, Topman, Ethanbaron, Jaygarcia, Nefertari, Rimoshifu, Nerona…. All joined in, but something is making me uneasy, nervous."
Kazuki took a deep breath as he read that last part again. This was from so long ago! The world government was super old as far as he knows and this island was still here safe?! And what was the eternal dragon?
"But this is just a old man rambling Hehe wonder what the ladies are looking like nowadays Hehe."
"In the first crate there are mostly just nicnakes but the others have turtles shells with different weights, the crates are magical along the shells so they don't effect the environment but be careful, they weigh in the millions of tons and have a lot of space."
"The harder training equipment is in the capsules but to get it, you have to move the shells covering them and the first shell itself weighs half a ton, Hehe and each crate except the first have special capsules that will help not just for training."
Kazuki looked confused. "Is it that heavy? And what is a capsule?"
"In the book the letter came from, it has my own insights along with a book on Son boyo's KI, the new crane, new turtle schools books and the Manuel's for the Kikoukenjutsu Sword School."
"To my new student even in death, you were brought here not by chance, but to embark on the same journey of those who once shook this galaxy."
"To be a martial artist isn't about just being skilled in combat, but someone who cultivates inner strength of mind, discipline to do what's needed, and a strong moral compass to shield and protect the weak in times of danger."
"So to my future student who must train without a master. Work hard, study well, and eat and sleep plenty! That is the Turtle Hermit way! We must first master the art of peace, in addition to the art of war."
~Grand master Muten Roshi, Turtle school~
Kazuki reread the letter as he looked at the last line in confusion.
"What does master mean by the art of peace addition to the art of war." He scratched his head in confusion before setting down the book and going to the second crate.
Opening it, he saw what looked like a hollow large purple block with two brown straps. "This is the turtle shell? It doesn't look so heavy." Kazuki said confidently.
He then grappled both stapes and took a deep breath before he began to pull till a vein was throbbing on his forehead.
"Fuck! Move!" Kazuki grunted as he took deep breaths pulling with all his might and effort but the shell didn't budge.
Slumping back onto the floor, Kazuki panted out of breath as he glared at the purple shell while rubbing his shoulder.
"Challenge accepted you damn shell!"
~A week later~
"Ugh one eighty-two, eighty-three, eighty-four…" Kazuki yelled dripping with sweat doing his daily warm up, push ups, sit-ups and running around the island.
This past week besides rewatching the twenty-first tournament, he also kept attempting to move the second crates shell to no avail. Putting him on a mission to become stronger to get those so called capsules.
He didn't want to be hopeless and weak in the face of danger anymore, no he wanted to be strong like the martial artist he seen on the screen.
Especially Jackie Chun, that old dude who destroyed the moon and beat all those devil fruit users in the competition.
"Did that enteral dragon thing also bring the moon back?"
Kazuki had also speculated how that boy Goku had turned into a giant ape along with all the other humanoid animals he saw, when he remembered his lessons on the marines and pirates.
Both groups sought out and battled each other on site but especially if a devil fruit was brought up and from what he knows.
Those fruits grant unbelievable powers, from altering the terrain, to transforming someone into a different species or element.
At least that's what the merchant lady teaching him warned about, though they do fetch a lot of money, it also came with lots of problems.
"Two hundred fifty- six, fifty-seven…" Kazuki grunted panting hard as he struggled to continue even as he winced feeling his shoulder throb.
It's been a week and while not fully healed, he felt stronger if he could put it to words. As he meditated he felt it, while slow it felt like a small sugar rush in a way.
Deciding to train, though it did cause some of his injuries to slightly reopen, he managed it well enough to feel the slight increase in strength along with his wounds not getting in the way of permanent damage.
Kazuki stretched before grabbing the purple book and reread the first page again as he sat down.
"Ki is a mix of Genki (元気, "Vigor") Yūki (勇気,"Courage") Shōki (正気, "Right-mindedness."
"Ki is made up of these three parts also known as latent energy or simply energy, which is a tangible force inside every living being, with the major focus being in the center of the body."
"With intense focus and meditation, one is able to draw it out and manipulate it for internal and external use." Kazuki read as he laid on the floor creasing his eyebrows.
He still hasn't been able to access this mysterious KI even when he sat for hours, he figured maybe his body wasn't strong enough and began doing the work outs he had learned along with yoga from the work out videos.
"Damnit I need to meditate more, but daisy looks so beautiful today." Kazuki muttered looking at the blue haired girl on the Tv coaching energetically with hearts in his eyes
"That's it! High knees girls! Work them glutes!"
Kazuki was one-hundred percent sure, it's because he hasn't seen a real person in a while, but he started talking to the tv a little more than just often.
He also started loving how beautiful the girls looked on the tapes, and there were lots of taps. He wasn't sure why but he just like seeing them energetic and happy caused him to not feel lonely.
"Eh, I'm sure it won't cause me to have a weird habit in the future." Kazuki smiled nodding this head at his self assurance.
"Now where is my red blanket? I know I saw it before passing out." Kazuki muttered as he got up and did his daily search on the small island.
That blanket was special to him, people back home made fun of him for always carrying it around.
But he couldn't part with it, not only did he find out his name from the blanket. It was special as its warmth never allowed him to be cold, and it was super durable.
That was the reason he didn't die from the explosion or falling off the cliff when that man attacked him.
Kazuki even started to believe that it was the reason he even got to KA-ME house.
Just look at how old this place was, especially after reading master Roshi's letter. Even if master said that the island brings the person it chooses here, it didn seem like it chose anyone in the decades that have passed.
"Man, did it drift off to sea?" Kazuki muttered in confusion as he sat down after searching for hours, even digging up the sand, but still found nothing.
As he looked at the ocean his thoughts became quiet as he enjoyed the wind that tussled his hair and the smell of the ocean that relaxed his tense body.
"I hope to find you one day buddy." He muttered before getting up and continuing his training.
After giving up temporarily in finding his blanket, days passed then a couple months flew as a fully healed Kazuki followed the katas and positions to the best of his ability with no teacher to correct him.
He mostly went off of instinct as he moved from one stance of punches, blocks and kicks after the next. Making sure to correct himself if he felt off.
The Ka-me style martial arts focused on rhythm, pattern, endurance and strength. The style was meant to change from passive to aggressive at any moment a blind spot was seen.
"HA, move!" Kazuki yelled as the veins on his arms throbbed and his face turned red from hold his breath as the grabbed the brown straps with all his might.
The shell didn't budge, but as Kazuki continued to pull he noticed a a slight movement of the shell moving up.
Kazuki didn't let up as seeing that got him pumped, he let out as a large breath and took in a deeper one as his face turned red and the shell moved as he pulled it up.
Blood tricked down Kazuki nose, but he ignored it as he continued to pull.
His arms shook and blood visibly leaked out from the veins on his arms andneck, his eyes went bloodshot as he heaved the two ton shell out of the crate and set it down.
'Bang'
Kazuki's body collapsed after setting the shell down but even as his body twitched and blood came out of him. He proudly looked at the shell laying on the ground.
"I did it, hell yeah." Kazuki weakly muttered as his eyes closed passing out.
~Hours later~
Kazuki groaned as he blinked adjusting to the basement lights. "Got to stop waking up on my back like this." He groan carefully sitting up and leaning against the now open crate.
He closed his eyes and began to meditate and hours passed till even a day went by as Kazuki sat there till he was able to stand up.
"Damn I'm starving." Kazuki bitterly mutters as he stood up using the crate as leverage causing him to glance inside.
There laying in the bottom were a bag of six green beans and a solid white case.
Grunting, Kazuki feeling super hungry grabbed a bean and chewed on it even as he almost choked from the bitter taste.
Just as he was about to eat another one, he blinked clenching his fist as he stood up easily no longer leaning against the crate.
"What the hell, I feel amazing!" Kazuki yelled in excitement jumping and running around the basement dojo.
"Was it that bean? I also feel full? Like I ate a buffet of food." Kazuki laughed as he walked back to the crate and grabbed the white case.
Opening it, he saw a big red number 44 along with instructions on how to use the capsules.
But his main focus was on the three white oval pods with a button on top and the different numbers on each of them..
48- Boat capsule for two person sailing.
52- Item storage capsule for safe keeping.
72- Small house capsule with bath, and bed.
Kazuki read the description along with how to use the capsules.
Going up the stairs he grabbed a pot and set up a stand and lit a fire underneath it and let the water boil before throwing the item capsule in.
He stood back and watched the boiling pod before it suddenly jumped out and burt into a cloud of smoke.
Kazuki looked excited as he tried to look into the thick smoke as it began to dissipate into the air.
There laid on a grey platform, was red pole inside a red sheath with a note on it.
"What? It's just a red stick, bummer." Kazuki muttered scratching his head as he walked and up and grabbed the note while taking the pole out.
Holding it in front of him. "Man I was expecting something cool, this sucks." He muttered before reading the note while looking disappointed.
"Power pole extend ugh oh my god."
Kazuki yelled as suddenly the red pole glowed bright red and shot down to the ground, embedding itself into the ground as it then extended itself high into the sky.
"Oh my god, stop please stop!" Kazuki yelled clutching the pole for dear life as his home became a small dot and he saw the ocean that surrounded it.
"Go down, please, please go down." Kazuki pleaded shutting his eyes as he felt the pole start to rapidly decend.
Once he was down on the ground Kazuki threw up as he breathed heavily, while looking at the pole in fear as if it was a evil demon.
