Big Mom grinned, but the expression was twisted and terrifying. "Good, my dear daughter. But if you dare betray me, remember—your life was given to you by me, and I will take it back myself."
Lynch stepped in front of Garrett, shielding her. "Old woman, you can't even handle yourself. Why bother coveting her?"
As Big Mom launched her attack, the remaining pirate alliance commanders turned their focus to the Sea Kings in the sea.

The poisoned Sea Kings quickly perished and sank into the depths.
"Lick, Candy Waves!"
Perospero waved his scepter, and a massive surge of syrup solidified around several Sea Kings, trapping them like insects in amber.
At the same time, Kaido, in his dragon form, reappeared in the sky!
