Chapter 567 - Chapter 567: Yama and Eris Enter the Japanese Pantheon Mythological World – The Journey Begins!

"Father…"

Yama looked at her smiling father, and a determined smile lit up her own face. "Father, I will follow in your footsteps. No matter how difficult it may be, no matter how much effort it takes, I will achieve it."

"I'm looking forward to it."

Hades nodded with a gentle smile. He was genuinely filled with anticipation for his daughter's efforts and growth.

After all.

This was his daughter. The more exceptional she became, the prouder and happier he was as a father.

As for concerns about family betrayal?

Uh…

That was simply out of the question!

This was his daughter! Could his daughter ever commit such a thing?

Impossible!

Hades had absolute confidence in this. He had raised and taught Yama himself, and he was certain she would never stray down such a path. This wasn't just blind optimism; it was a confidence born from his soul and being.

This kind of confidence…

For Hades, no matter what happened, his daughter could never disappoint him. His faith in her was unshakable.

If he couldn't even trust his own daughter…

Wouldn't that be far too strange?

Even though he originated from the Greek Pantheon, notorious for its chaos and betrayal, he was resolute that his family wouldn't succumb to such dysfunction.

This was his unwavering belief in his daughter, as well as his confidence in himself and the principles he instilled in her.

"Mm!"

Yama nodded firmly, her eyes brimming with determination.

At this moment.

Her resolve was absolute.

She knew that catching up to her father was something she must do. Not out of a desire to surpass or defeat him.

But rather…

Deep in her heart, Yama truly wanted to support her father. No matter what it took, as long as she could help him, that was what mattered most to her.

For so many years…

Her efforts had all been aimed at this goal—to grow, to strengthen herself, to better assist her father.

More than that.

Her deepest wish was to no longer always stand behind her father, but to one day stand beside him as an equal. That was her ultimate goal.

"Ehehe~~~"

Hestia chuckled, her tone playful. "Good! Good! That's how it should be. Stop overthinking it and just focus on surpassing your dear father. After all, isn't that the most meaningful thing to aim for?"

Hestia blinked mischievously, her playful gaze resting on her niece.

Yama sighed in exasperation.

But!

She knew that her aunt wasn't entirely wrong. She needed to strive hard. Only by giving her all could she one day stand proudly at her father's side.

Otherwise.

She would always remain the "little princess of the Underworld."

And!

As the princess of the Underworld, Yama couldn't accept that.

For Yama, it wasn't enough to be acknowledged simply because she was the daughter of her parents. She wanted to earn the recognition of her title and position through her own efforts.

That was what mattered most to her.

If she couldn't muster even the courage to prove herself, she felt she would be unworthy of the title of Princess of the Underworld.

"Mm~~~"

Persephone smiled warmly, her expression full of pride. This was her daughter—steadfast, diligent, and full of potential. No matter how she looked at it, Persephone couldn't be prouder.

Determined.

Earnest.

Hardworking.

As a mother, Persephone was deeply moved by her daughter's shining qualities.

In a sense…

Yama's journey was like that of an heir striving to prove they were worthy of inheriting the family business. And as her parents, Hades and Persephone fully supported her efforts.

After all.

This wasn't the story of a spoiled heiress wasting her life on frivolity. Yama was an ambitious and capable young woman determined to prove herself. Why wouldn't they support her?

This was exactly how things should be—showing her capabilities, displaying her strength.

For Hades and Persephone.

Their only concern was for Yama's safety. They had no doubts about her abilities. That confidence in her was evidence of everything she had achieved so far.

"Alright!"

"Alright!"

Hestia suddenly spoke up, her tone cutting through the mood like a blade. Pouting slightly, she said, "Can you all stop being so overly sentimental? Someone who doesn't know better might think this is some earth-shattering moment!"

"Honestly!"

Hestia shook her head, clearly exasperated. "No need to be so dramatic! First of all, isn't this just about Little Yama and Eris checking out the situation in the Japanese Pantheon Mythological World? It's not like they're starting an invasion right away."

She sighed as if she couldn't understand why they were treating this moment so solemnly.

"Elder sister," Hades replied calmly, "has anyone ever told you that you're particularly good at ruining the mood?"

"Huh?!"

Hestia blinked in surprise, then smirked. "Little brother, are you finally learning to talk back to me?"

"…"

Hades merely cast her a glance before looking away.

Forget it.

There was no point in arguing with his sister. Anyone who knew her well would understand—it was best not to engage.

Turning his attention back to Yama, Hades said quietly, "Little Yama, since you've made your decision, start preparing for the journey."

"Next."

"When things on Aether's side are settled, you'll be ready to move forward."

"Yes, Father!"

Yama nodded seriously.

Currently, Eris was assisting Aether in establishing a divine faction of darkness and night. It would take some time to finish, so there was no immediate rush to act.

Tap, tap.

Soft footsteps echoed as two figures walked together along a path.

Nyx and Eris.

The mother and daughter pair seemed deep in quiet conversation as they strolled.

"Mother," Eris asked softly, "is there a specific reason you called me out here?"

Nyx smiled gently, nodding slightly as she replied, "Eris, soon you'll be accompanying the Princess to the Japanese Pantheon Mythological World. I want you to be careful."

"…"

Eris paused, surprised, before asking, "Mother, is the Princess already preparing to enter another mythological world?"

"Yes."

Nyx nodded with a warm smile. "The Princess is ready to proceed. Having recently reached God-Kinghood, it's time for her to continue forward. Delaying things any longer wouldn't be good. Besides, the Princess herself wishes to grow further."

"I see."

Eris nodded in understanding. It made sense that the Princess wanted to grow stronger and contribute more to Hades and Persephone.

After all.

This was a positive thing—a sign of progress, a step toward becoming more capable.

For their Princess, it was a clear demonstration of her determination to grow and help her parents. This couldn't be considered anything but a good thing.

Indeed!

Anyone willing to embrace growth, especially from within, was doing something right. For gods, this inner drive was the most vital factor in meaningful development.

This wasn't forced growth. It wasn't the kind of progression born out of necessity or pressure.

It was genuine.

For someone like the Princess, born with the privileges of the Underworld's royalty, growth wasn't something she strictly needed to pursue. She could've easily chosen a quiet, unchallenged existence.

But instead.

She had chosen otherwise. She wanted to achieve more and make herself truly worthy of her position.

This was the most important thing.

"Time flies…" Eris mused softly. "It feels like just yesterday when the Princess was born, and now she's grown so much."

Her voice carried a mix of wonder and nostalgia as she reflected on how quickly things had changed.

Nyx, too, nodded. "Indeed. The Princess has come far—a truly outstanding child, willing to grow and embrace responsibility."

"Exactly," Eris agreed.

It was undeniable.

For everyone in the Underworld, it was clear.

Somehow, without anyone realizing it, their Princess had grown into someone capable and independent. She was no longer a child but someone ready to take on the challenges of the world.

It was…

An extraordinary feeling.

The Pure Land of Bliss.

"…"

Yama sat quietly on her throne, an air of melancholy surrounding her.

Why?

Hmm?

Yama couldn't quite figure it out. How had the news of her upcoming journey with Eris to the Japanese Pantheon Mythological World become common knowledge across the entire Underworld?

Now she truly felt lost!

She didn't understand what had happened.

But!

Somehow, everyone knew. It was perplexing, wasn't it?

"Ehehe~~~"

Hestia suddenly popped up out of nowhere, grinning as she asked, "Little Yama, what's wrong? Why the long face?"

Yama shook her head, sighing softly. "Auntie, it's strange. How does everyone know that I'm going with Eris to another mythological world? The entire Underworld seems to be aware of it."

As she spoke.

Yama cast a suspicious look at her aunt, tilting her head slightly. Was her aunt behind this?

"Hmm~~~"

"Could it have been Father or Mother?" Yama wondered aloud, her voice soft yet tinged with curiosity as she watched Hestia closely.

"Ah?!"

"Hahaha~~~"

"I have no idea!"

"What's going on?"

"Maybe…"

"Everyone just guessed?" Hestia chuckled awkwardly, her gaze darting away.

Yama's voice turned pointed as she

said, "Auntie, do you think I'm a fool?"

"Ehehe~~~"

Hestia laughed nervously, scratching her head as she tried to explain. "Little Yama, you have to understand. You're the Princess of the Underworld! When you make a decision, of course, the whole Underworld should know about it. Doesn't that showcase the grandeur of the Princess?"

"But…"

Yama sighed and shook her head. "Auntie, it's so embarrassing! It wasn't even that big of a deal, and now everyone knows."

"How is it not a big deal?" Hestia retorted, shaking her head. "Little Yama, you and Eris entering the Japanese Pantheon Mythological World is a significant event! It marks the beginning of everything and showcases your determination to grow. Isn't that worth celebrating?"
