Hades, Persephone, and Hestia were chatting when suddenly—Buzz!
A crisp sound echoed throughout the entire underworld.
Whether it was the gods of the underworld, the underworld warriors, or even the ordinary souls, at that moment, the entire underworld fell into silence.
For a brief moment, everyone was puzzled.
All the beings in the underworld looked at each other in confusion, not understanding what had just happened.
But soon, the underworld was stirred into excitement because those who understood knew exactly what this signified. This was a monumental event for the underworld.
No one expected it to succeed at this moment.
Hades stood up, his figure instantly disappearing from Elysium as if he had never been there.
Persephone and Hestia exchanged glances, both smiling.
They understood the significance of this event for the underworld.
The Underworld's World Tree!
Hades reappeared at the crown of the World Tree, where everything remained unchanged—except for one thing: a glowing orb emitting a golden light, representing the essence of the earth, radiating its brilliant glow.
It was as if this golden light was illuminating the entire underworld.
Hades made no move to stop the light's brilliance and simply observed it silently.
Before long, the golden light began to spread throughout the underworld, gradually descending into the depths of the realm.
In an instant, the underworld began to tremble violently.
However, just as quickly as it began, the shaking subsided.
Following this, the entire underworld felt more solid, more stable, and heavier, an indescribably strange feeling.
Yet it was a feeling that every being in the underworld could sense clearly.
It was truly remarkable and fascinating!
And this...
This left no doubt as to what had occurred. Every god in the underworld knew:
The domain of the Underworld's World Tree had been born!
Indeed, nearly a million years ago, Athena, the Goddess of the Earth, had made a deal with Hades, the Lord of the Underworld.
As part of that deal, Athena handed over thirty percent of the earth's essence.
In return, Hades used that thirty percent, along with various rare treasures and divine resources, to nurture the domain of the Underworld's World Tree.
Until now!
The domain had fully matured.
For the underworld, the significance of this was obvious.
The underworld already possessed the star realm, ruled by the God-King Aether. Even though Aether had initially been the weakest of the God-Kings, a God-King was still a God-King!
Each God-King-level deity is an unparalleled force for any realm.
Clearly, this was indisputable.
For the underworld, this was also true. Who would complain about having more God-Kings in their ranks?
Of course, no one would!
The birth of the domain meant that the underworld could now use it as the foundation to create a second God-King, the Lord of the Underworld's World Tree Domain.
Though the title might sound complicated, this new Lord of the Earth would hold a status comparable to Athena herself.
Of course, while their divine power wouldn't be on the same level, their rank would be equivalent, an undeniable fact.
The domain of the Underworld's World Tree!
At this moment, Hades arrived in the domain. Unlike other domains, the land of the Underworld's World Tree shone with a golden hue, exuding a luminous golden glow.
However, in terms of size, the domain wasn't particularly vast, even smaller than any of the eight great hells of the underworld.
Yet every god could sense the pure, concentrated essence of the earth here.
In other words, Hades wasn't pursuing quantity but quality. He had intentionally reduced the size of the domain, which increased the quality of the land.
While the domain was indeed smaller, the higher quality was precisely what made it more suited for the underworld.
After all, the Underworld's World Tree and the mythical World Tree from other realms were fundamentally different.
Under these circumstances, the best approach was to focus on improving quality first, to stabilize it and gradually build from there. This was the most beneficial and appropriate method for the underworld.
Hades had nurtured the perfect domain for the Underworld's World Tree.
"Husband," Persephone arrived at the domain at this moment, accompanied by Hestia.
Tap, tap.
Like a child, Hestia stomped on the ground playfully and asked curiously, "Brother, don't you think our underworld's domain feels different from the one on the surface?"
Hades nodded and explained, "That's right. The underworld's domain has a higher quality. This way, the future Lord of the Earth from the Underworld's World Tree will have far greater potential."
Aether's case was quite unique.
In comparison, Aether had drawn power from both the star realm of the Underworld's World Tree and the star realm of the Greek mythological world.
The fusion of these two realms birthed the God-King of the Star Realm, making Aether quite different from other star realm lords.
As a result, Aether's potential was exceptionally high.
However, if the underworld's domain lacked sufficient quality, the future God-King of the domain would be entirely bound to the underworld, unable to cultivate independently.
This was not what Hades wanted.
In Hades' eyes, the Lord of the Underworld's Earth must possess the ability to cultivate independently and grow stronger on their own.
This was what mattered most.
