The gap between God-Kings.
The gap between Ancient Gods and God-Kings.
Only when you truly set foot here can you fully comprehend how astonishing this difference really is. However, this disparity does not disturb Hades in the slightest.
Anxiety?
Tension?
Despair?
Sorry!
These emotions have never existed for Hades. This is simply his nature. In his view, every step he's taken has been deliberate and earned, with no shortcuts. Having survived countless hardships to reach where he is today, why would he fear anything now? There's no need for fear—this is who Hades is. He has no hesitation, no doubt. As long as he continues to walk step by step, everything will be fine. That is his unwavering personality, no matter the situation.
As long as he keeps moving forward steadily, the path before him will remain clear. And as long as he sticks to this steady path, everything will work out.
"But..." Hades muttered softly to himself, "The gap between God-Kings and Ancient Gods... If you don't witness it firsthand, if you don't personally experience it, you'll never understand just how vast this difference truly is."
Hades shook his head calmly and closed his eyes again. The massive gains brought by this recent apocalypse allowed him to reach the pinnacle of the God-King level. Yet, his foundation still needed further stabilization. Rushing ahead would be meaningless.
Given that, it's better to stabilize his base gradually. Rushing things would be counterproductive. This is simply Hades' way—never hasty in anything but methodical, moving forward one step at a time. This is his unchanging trait, no matter the circumstances.
It's a matter of character for Hades—there will be no change. And now, the path ahead is even clearer, even wider. So why overthink it? He'll just keep moving forward, step by step, one footprint after another.
As long as Hades follows this path, it will be enough. As for the rest? There's no need to hurry. No anxiety, no tension—these things are never urgent.
...
The Underworld!
After the apocalypse, the Underworld gradually returned to peace. In truth, this is how the Underworld was meant to be. For the Underworld, there's never any rush.
As long as it moves forward slowly, everything will remain stable. The path is clear and everything will progress steadily, step by step, until it reaches its ultimate limit. This has always been the essence of the Underworld.
To this day, this remains unchanged.
However...
In the Fate Hell.
Moira was quietly honing her mastery of the laws of fate. After ascending to the level of God-King, she gained a deeper understanding of these laws. She had now become a complete, four-fold Fate Goddess—a true, fully realized goddess of fate.
Buzz— Buzz—
Threads of divine power flowed outward as Moira's form split once again into the four Fate Goddesses, led by Clotho. At that moment, all four of them exuded boundless divine power and the laws of fate. They had reached the peak of a Chief God's power, just one step away from entering the God-King level.
It's hard to imagine.
These four goddesses of fate, originally multiple deities, now possessed strength comparable to the pinnacle of a Chief God, individually. Yet, that's the reality—they truly reached such a level.
And this isn't even their limit. Or rather, they can still grow stronger. When the four Fate Goddesses reach their full potential, they will surpass other gods. Hard to imagine? Or too daring to believe? Yet, this is the truth. No matter how hard it is to conceive, the fact remains.
This is the undeniable reality, plain for all to see.
"This feeling..." Clotho murmured softly, "So this is the power of a God-King. If I hadn't experienced it myself, who could have imagined how overwhelming it truly is!"
Clotho's voice carried an unmistakable sense of awe and disbelief. No matter how many descriptions others might offer, without personally stepping into the realm of God-Kings, one could never truly comprehend the magnitude of the power.
This is just like how Hades only realized, after reaching the pinnacle of the God-King level, how vast the gap is between an Ancient God and a God-King.
The same principle applies between God-Kings and those below.
Unless you enter the realm of God-Kings yourself, you'll never understand what kind of power it is. You'll never fully grasp the enormous gap between those levels.
"Clotho, are you alright?" asked Lachesis softly, looking at Clotho with concern, fearing she might be having some kind of trouble.
Power of this magnitude could indeed cause problems, especially given that the Fate Goddesses are multiple deities. Their connection to Moira is unique.
Moira is them, and they are Moira, yet the Fate Goddesses are not entirely Moira, and Moira isn't just the Fate Goddesses.
If this delicate balance is not handled well, serious issues could arise.
Suddenly gaining such immense power could indeed cause problems. Clotho, Lachesis, and Atropos all looked at Clotho with worry, fearing she might lose control.
Clotho smiled and shook her head. "Don't worry. I won't falter on something like this. If I can't even stabilize myself now, that would be truly embarrassing!"
Clotho remained calm. She was genuinely at peace.
Her mind was serene as she immersed herself in the laws of a God-King's power. She involuntarily narrowed her eyes slightly, savoring the tranquil feeling of being in harmony with this newfound strength. It was this sense of peace that mattered most.
