When I heard that, I started getting a bit irritated.
Why is Freya sending him here?
"So it's Ottar. Tell him I'll be out in a moment."
"Sure."
Lili left my room, and I washed my face before heading downstairs. When I got to the door, I felt an overwhelming pressure coming from outside. It felt like I could die the moment I opened that door.
Even after all the progress I've made, I still don't think I can beat Ottar.
'But if Freya sent him here, I doubt he'll attack me out of nowhere.' I opened the door, and our eyes met.
"What do you want?" I asked, keeping my composure.
"Freya wants to speak with you."
"I'm not going."
"You'd better reconsider."
"What's wrong? Are you going to force me?" I stepped forward.
A huge surge of energy radiated from Ottar's body. He was getting angry. But I didn't care—I stood my ground. "So? What are you going to do?" I asked.
Ottar finally lost his patience and tried to strike me.
But I sensed the attack and used my teleportation skill to vanish. Then, I activated my invisibility and camouflage abilities to hide from him. Someone like Ottar has incredibly sharp senses, but even he couldn't detect me.
He had no idea where I was.
Now that my skills have leveled up a few more times, I can keep them active for much longer.
'Should I attack or run?' No—I can't run. What if he tries something against Lili, Mikoto, or Haruhime?
Besides, I can't let him treat me like an easy target. I have to show him I can fight back.
'He has insane attack power and godlike defense. But if I hit him without him knowing where it's coming from…' I activated my Speed skill and quickly closed in on him.
As I got closer, Ottar suddenly turned in my direction.
'He sensed that?'
My eyes widened in surprise.
Still, I followed through with my attack.

Both skills are max level, so their effects are powerful. Ottar couldn't react in time, and I landed a clean hit on his leg. But the moment I hit him, I felt a sharp pain in my foot.

But his leg wasn't unharmed either.
I heard the sound of bone shattering as he fell to the ground.
He didn't scream or cry out in pain. His pain tolerance is insanely high.
He lifted his head and started scanning the area. "…" He didn't say a word—completely focused, trying to find me.
But he couldn't.
I should take this chance to strike again.
I won't use my sword. I don't want to kill him.
'Damn, my foot hurts like hell.' But just as I was about to attack again, I noticed how badly injured my foot was. Luckily, my "Regeneration LV10" skill kicked in.

Then, Ottar activated a skill.
His claws extended, and he began looking around like a rabid beast.
He started slashing wildly in all directions, leaving me no opening to attack. He was swinging his claws by pure instinct—but he was coming right toward me.
'He can sense where I am.'
He's fast. Really fast.
Even with "Speed LV10" active, he was keeping up.
So I left the mansion's garden and teleported into the city.
I landed on a nearby rooftop.
The moment I disappeared, Ottar stopped attacking.
'Crazy bastard.'
My garden was a mess.
Even though we didn't have a proper fight, the place was wrecked.
Ottar eventually calmed down, and his animalistic instincts faded.
Then, I teleported again and appeared behind him.
I punched him in the side with all my strength.
It hurt my hand, but this time, it didn't break.
Ottar didn't suffer any broken bones either, but he definitely felt the hit.
He dropped to one knee, and I deactivated my invisibility skill.
"Go tell Freya I'll only speak to her if she comes to me in person. Tell her I'll be waiting here. I'll also speak to Goddess Hestia and explain everything."
"That's impossible. She won't come here."
"If she really wants to talk to me, she'll have to. Now get out of my garden, you son of a bitch. Look at the mess you made."
Ottar took a deep breath and stood up with difficulty.
