Chapter 8 - The Girl Who Stood Up to the Tyrant

The corridor fell silent.

Every employee lowered their heads as Aaron Steel strode through the hospital.

His perfectly tailored black suit hugged his broad frame.

His polished shoes echoed against the marble floor.

Behind him walked directors, executives, and security personnel, all struggling to keep up with his long, confident strides.

No one dared speak.

Aaron's cold gray eyes scanned every corner of the hospital.

He noticed everything.

A cracked wall.

A flickering light.

A nurse checking her phone.

Nothing escaped him.

"This hospital has become careless," he said coldly.

The hospital director immediately wiped the sweat from his forehead.

"We'll correct everything immediately, Mr. Steel."

"You should have corrected it before I arrived."

His emotionless voice made everyone freeze.

Meanwhile...

On the third floor...

Celina pushed her cleaning cart toward the emergency hallway.

She was humming softly to herself.

She had no idea the hospital owner was only a few corridors away.

As she reached a corner, an elderly patient suddenly lost his balance.

"Oh!"

The old man stumbled forward.

Without thinking...

Celina dropped her mop.

She rushed forward and caught him before he hit the floor.

"Easy, Grandpa," she said with a warm smile.

"I've got you."

The old man's shaking hands held onto hers.

"Thank you, my child..."

Celina helped him sit on a nearby bench.

She fetched him a cup of water and called a nurse.

Only after making sure he was safe did she continue working.

She never noticed that someone had witnessed everything.

Aaron Steel.

He had stopped walking.

From the opposite corridor...

He watched the young cleaner.

She hadn't tried to impress anyone.

She hadn't realized anyone important was watching.

She simply helped a stranger because she wanted to.

Aaron frowned.

Why did that bother him?

He turned away.

"Let's continue."

His assistants quickly followed.

But before disappearing around the corner...

Aaron glanced back one last time.

For a brief second...

Their eyes met.

Celina blinked in surprise.

Who was that handsome man everyone seemed terrified of?

She shrugged.

Probably another rich executive.

She grabbed her mop.

Completely unaware...

She had just become the first woman to make Aaron Steel look back.
