Chapter 7 - It’s Just the Beginning.

"Everything seems normal with no issues," he thought. "But just in case, let's use that."

Max sat cross-legged, his body in so much pain he could barely endure. He closed his eyes, sat straight, and began to meditate. In his mind, he opened a space resembling a blue light with a mysterious effect. He took a stone from that space, which glowed bright yellow.

"I've taken care of everything, but for the small injuries, a level 1 divine stone is enough. Just to be sure, let's use a level 2 stone. It can also improve my divine powers. Even if it gets out of control, it won't affect much."

He returned to reality and used the divine stone to cultivate. It released a bright yellow smoke, covering Max. Sweat formed on his forehead. After a while, he opened his eyes.

"Hmm… finally, now I don't have to worry about losing any memories. And my soul power has also increased."

Max's mother was initially shocked when the nurse informed her of Max's condition. She was relieved and glad to know he was out of his coma. She rushed to the hospital and found him unconscious. She waited for him to wake up, but she fell asleep from exhaustion.

Max noticed his mother waking up.

"Mom?"

"Max! You finally woke up. You know how much we were worried about you."

"Thank God you're alright. Why did you have to do such a stupid thing?"

"Mom, sorry for worrying you. Nothing like this will happen again, I promise."

"Why don't you lay down and rest? Does your body hurt?"

"It's okay, Mom. I'm fine."

"I'll go and make a call to tell your father the good news."

In the hospital, only one person could stay with the patient. Max's mom usually took care of him, while his father worked to earn money. His father would visit whenever he could.

After a while, his father arrived, hugged him, and cried, missing his son so much.

"Dad, I'm fine."

"Yeah… it's good you're back."

Max knew how much his parents loved him. He didn't want to see them sad anymore and only wanted to see them happy.

The next morning...

"Dad, you don't have to worry about me. It's getting late for work. I'll get better soon."

"Alright then. I'll get going. Take care of our son."

"Of course."

After a while, a nurse came, saying the doctor was looking for her.

"Son, I'll be back soon. Have some rest," she said, then left to meet the doctor.
