When the alien ships descended upon Planet Valor once again, humanity was thrown into another desperate battle for survival.
But this time, everything was different. Before the battle could turn into another massacre, Sunaina stepped onto the battlefield. Using her Luminara powers, she single-handedly defeated the entire alien force without allowing a single human soldier to lose their life.
After the battle, the humans recovered several intact alien ships. However, that wasn't the most astonishing discovery.
Inside one of the captured ships, King Sharky II discovered something far more valuable: DNA samples belonging to ten different species.
These species lived in the mysterious regions of Planet Valor, and the aliens' true purpose for attacking the planet had been to obtain their DNA.
King Sharky II quickly ordered his scientists to study the DNA samples and determine whether their genetic properties could be transferred to humans.
After numerous experiments, they discovered that the DNA could temporarily grant humans abilities associated with the respective species.
The experiments produced a variety of abilities. Some humans gained enhanced physical strength, while others developed the ability to generate and control fire, even using it to fly. Some gained an incredibly enhanced sense of smell.
But the most astonishing result was that some people gained the ability to transform their bodies into diamond. Thanks to this discovery, the Valor Kingdom became richer than ever before.
In total, the experiments produced ten distinct types of powers, each corresponding to one of the ten species.
Realizing that another alien invasion could happen at any time, King Sharky II established an elite group dedicated to protecting the kingdom and its people from future alien threats. This group became known as the Guardians.
Although the humans had gained these powers, they could not keep them permanently. The powers remained within their bodies for only ten minutes before disappearing.
This created a major problem for King Sharky II. He needed a small group of loyal warriors, perhaps only ten, who could be trusted to use these powers whenever the Guardians needed them.
However, constantly finding suitable people and transferring the powers to them for every mission was impractical. King Sharky II needed a way to preserve these abilities so that the Guardians could access them whenever necessary.
Among those who gained these abilities was a man named Johnny. His ability allowed him to shrink to a size smaller than a human hand while greatly enhancing his intelligence.
Seeing the problem King Sharky II was facing, Johnny eventually came up with an idea.
"King Sharky, what if we could store the genetic information of these species inside a device? Whenever we need a particular power, we could activate the device and access that ability. The power could remain active for five minutes, and once it runs out, the device could automatically begin recharging."
"Good! Wonderful idea!" King Sharky II exclaimed, praising Johnny. "From now on, you shall be known as the Brain of the Guardians—the brilliant Johnny Guardian!"
From that day onward, Johnny was known as the Brain of the Guardians.
Soon, other individuals who had gained similar intelligence-enhancing and shrinking abilities joined Johnny in his research. Although the temporary abilities disappeared after ten minutes, the enhanced intelligence granted by their species remained permanently.
With their enhanced intellect, they continued researching and experimenting.
For the next twenty years, Johnny and the other researchers continued studying the alien DNA and refining their technology through countless experiments. Finally, their efforts paid off.
They succeeded in creating a device capable of storing the genetic template and powers of a single alien species.
They named it the Valortrix.
Simply by wearing the device, a person could access the immense abilities of the selected alien species.
However, research on the Valortrix continued, with the Guardians working to upgrade it so that a single device could eventually store the powers of all ten species.

A hundred years passed, and several generations of the Valor Family came and went. Yet, despite the passage of time, no descendant of Sharky II had awakened the power of the Luminara.
Still, with the Valortrix in their possession, humanity was far better prepared to face future alien threats.
King Sharky II eventually passed away. Before his death, he entrusted his Valortrix to his chosen successor, Sharky III, passing down both the device and the responsibility that came with it.
Sharky III was the great-grandson of Sharky II. After undergoing numerous trials designed to test his strength, intelligence, and loyalty, he proved himself worthy of the throne and became the next King of Olympia.
Sunaina also eventually passed away. Although she still had many years of life remaining, she could no longer find meaning in continuing her life without Sharky II. Before her death, she gathered her remaining Luminara powers into a magical cube and hid it within the Magic Realm.
She also established several conditions that anyone seeking to inherit her powers would have to fulfill. Among them, the most important requirement was that the chosen person had to be married into the Valor Family.
King Sharky III upgraded the original Guardians' equipment using technology similar to the Valortrix.
With this new device, each Guardian could permanently store the power of a single alien species within their body. Although the device itself needed to be recharged after five minutes of use, the stored power would remain within the Guardian permanently.
Using this technology, Sharky III established a new permanent Guardian force, including a specialized group of Guardians who possessed the enhanced intelligence inherited from the original Guardian researchers.
King Sharky III also upgraded the Valortrix. The new version could now store the genetic templates and powers of all ten alien species, allowing its user to access any of them when needed.
However, he also added several restrictions to the Valortrix.
From that point onward, only people who possessed Valor blood could activate the Valortrix. However, possessing Valor blood alone was not enough—the Valortrix itself would determine whether the individual was worthy of wielding its power.
Those deemed worthy would gain access to its immense powers and inherit the responsibility of carrying on the legacy of their ancestors.

Another two hundred years passed. During that time, the Valortrix remained dormant, choosing no successor from the Valor Family.
Eventually, however, a child was born who was chosen by the Valortrix. He took up the mantle of his ancestors and became known as Sharky IV.
King Sharky IV took the Guardians' mission one step further.
First, he established diplomatic relations with the various intelligent species living on Planet Valor. He also reached out to other planets, establishing contact with various extraterrestrial species.
Whenever he encountered a species that valued peace and opposed unnecessary war, violence, and dictatorship, King Sharky IV offered them the opportunity to join the Guardians.
As a result, the Guardian organization expanded beyond Planet Valor and established branches on many other planets.
Through these alliances, King Sharky IV gained access to the DNA of thousands of different species. Eventually, he added the genetic data of 10,000 species to the Valortrix and introduced a new scanning and DNA-storage function.
The scanning function allowed the Valortrix to analyze a species' DNA and create a genetic template of its abilities. Once the template was stored, the user could access that species' powers.
This allowed King Sharky IV, as well as future wielders of the Valortrix, to instantly gain the powers of a newly discovered species simply by scanning its DNA and storing the resulting genetic template.
As civilization continued to evolve and the Guardian organization expanded across multiple planets, major political reforms began. Eventually, the system of monarchy was abolished and replaced by a democratic form of government.
The Guardians also remained hidden from the general public, operating from the shadows while only certain governments knew of their existence.
They appeared whenever an alien-related threat endangered Earth or humanity.
However, governments around the world still feared the Guardians because of their overwhelming power. The Guardians operated independently and answered to no government, intervening whenever they believed Earth or humanity was in danger.
Later, Jason Valor became the successor to King Sharky IV and inherited the throne. However, he was not given the name Sharky because the Valortrix had not chosen him as its successor.
Even without the Valortrix, the Guardians had become so powerful and well-established that they could easily deal with most threats and acts of terrorism.
According to the ancient rules, Jason was not permitted to become the leader of the Guardians because he had not been chosen by the Valortrix.
However, the rules contained an exception for someone who married a recognized Luminara inheritor.
A woman named Elizabeth eventually became Jason's lover, and the two were married.
Elizabeth was an important figure because she had finally inherited the Luminara powers that Queen Sunaina had hidden within the Magic Realm centuries ago.
Her awakening became a moment of celebration for both the Guardians and the Valor Family, as Sunaina's long-hidden legacy had finally returned.
Because Elizabeth was a recognized inheritor of Sunaina's Luminara powers, the ancient exception allowed Jason to become the leader of the Guardians despite not being chosen by the Valortrix.
However, the Valor Family and the Guardians still carried one regret.
The next successor to the Valortrix had yet to appear.
They had no idea when the ancient device would finally choose its next heir.
Time passed, and Jason's two sons, Arthur and Aric, grew up.
Yet neither of them was chosen by the Valortrix.
The ancient device remained silent, leaving the Valor Family to wonder who would become its next successor.
