Ash hummed, "Not necessarily love. There is a Diancie who is in charge of that Kingdom. You will only have to step in if something happens to them."
Ruby eyed him, "How do you know that?"

Gou, "Ah! I remember that talk. That sure was something, huh?"
Diancie, -So, I can still travel with you?-
Ash pulled her into a hug, "Of course you are. Besides, you are still a kid. You are not getting any throne till you are at least thirteen human years old."
Diancie, -Oh! I see, okay then. Thank you mama.-
Lucario watched her go, -She has been fretting over that ever since we ran into Jiraichi.-
Ash, "Ah! I am glad she asked instead of jumping to conclusions."
Max, "Don't you think it is too early to worry about inheriting a throne though? Diancie is not even a year old yet."
Ash laughed, "That is true. Anyway, if everyone has finished breakfast we should head out."
Max, "Today is the day!"
May, "Gou! Let's show them what we can do."
Gou, "With pleasure."
Molly giggled, "I can't wait to battle either. This will be fun."
Ruby, "We trained really hard."
Max, "Yeah!"
Ash, "Remember to have fun!"
Everyone, "Yeah!"
The first rounds went by without any problems with the group teaming up with each other to help May move to the next round. The audience was surprised to see their Champion Ruby but it was not against the rules so after some discussion the match went on. Ash ran into someone called Tory who was hyperventilating on his way to the testing grounds and helped the blue haired teen calm down. Tory thanked him and apologised for the trouble but Ash waved it off, instead inviting him to watch his performance durin the test. Tory's eyes widened at that, most trainers went for the battle royale not the tests which were an option too. Ash laughed saying he needed to apply for permit to join emergencies in Hoenn since he already had a certificate since the Orange Archipalego incident. Tory's eyes widened at that because who did not know about that incident and asked questions about it.
Ash, "Yes, Moltress, Zapdos and Articuno really live on those islands. Those islands are protected... ", a blast shook the area.
Tory looked around, "What was that?"
Ash looked up, "Oh sweet sanity!"
Tory looked at where Ash was staring, "Is that a Rayquaza?"
Ash, "An Alpha one at that who looks very pissed. Who the fuck has been going around pissing off an Alpha dragon?"
Tory saw the destruction and paled, "Ah! They just destroyed a building like it is nothing."
Ash looked around seeing trainers who were going for the permits guide people to safety and made up his mind. Lucario nodded and grabbed the Pokemon telling them to stay close while Ash pulled Tory along to get to a safe place. They ran from the falling debris and pushed the younger boy behind him as he looked outside and saw Rayquaza go after something. Ash gave a sigh of relief and then cursed his memory for not remembering the Deoxys and Rayquaza movie which was created as a tribute to the two alien Pokemon. He now recalls how he went crazy over a scene where Rayquaza appeared from underground and attacked Deoxys. It was such a really cool animated scene and one of the reasons he adored the giant dragon type Pokemon even though it was causing destruction right now. Lucario sensing Ash's thoughts could only shook his head while Abra chuckled at his Meema. Honestly, a Pokemon could take over the world and his Meema would still love them, like that Hoopa.
Tory, "Umm... What is going on over there?"
Ash, "From the looks of it, Rayquaza is battling something."
Tory, "Really?"
Ash nodded, "Yes, though I am unsure which Pokemon it is because the opponent is moving really fast."
Tory's breath hitched, "It must be a Legendary or a Mythical type to be able to out speed Rayquaza so easily."
Ash, "No doubt! We need to activate the evacuation alarm. Does this City have one?"
Tory, "There is an access inside the train centre. We have to cross all the way North - side to reach it though."
Ash, "Alright then, evacuation first then battle. Let's go!"
The two of them sprinted up North away from where the giant sky dragon and their opponent were battling each other. Ash however wondered if Ruby was seeing this and was okay, he knew what happened in the manga. The raven haired teen decided to have a group hug session with the older raven haired teen who was also almost an adult. For now, he would focus on reaching his target and activate the evacuation protocol to get everyone out of the City which was now a turf war zone. Ruby was not okay, he was getting flashbacks to the cold space and his old fear of not making back home all over. He hated it, hated it a lot but still kept moving and held Orion's pokeball close. Yeah, his buddy was with him and as much as he was tempted to call on Orion he knew better than to provoke the Alpha who was clearly pissed off about another entering his territory.
May was terrified, logically she knew Rayquaza were powerful Legendary Pokemon who ruled the space outside her home planet like an Emperor. She knew they were not to be messed with and were a force of nature. However, spending months with Ruby's Rayquaza had lulled her into a sense of false normalcy. Honestly, she should have known better than to believe that the Alpha Rayquaza would not appear in Hoenn if they were not pissed off about a tresspasser entering their territory. Orion was and still is as Ruby mentioned to them before still too young to be considered a territory Lord. Gou stared at the large Pokemon and felt conflicted about the situation they were in currently. He wanted to run after the large magnificient dragon in the sky and find out who had challenged them. However, he knew better, dragons were territorial types and if he dared approach Rayquaza now he would cease to exist so he stayed put and ensured his friend's safety instead.
Max was guiding the civilians with the rest of the trainers to safety while the older trainers were keeping an eye out for the large Pokemon. He stayed calm as best as he could even though he was trembling and wanted to run away with his sister. He took deep breathes like Ash had showed him before and stayed focused. It would be the worst decision to lose his focus in the middle of this disaster. Molly was watching the fight between Rayquaza and their opponent in awe and a bit of fear. She recalls her near daeth with the Unown who were furious with her when they realized she was no longer playing with them. She knows Entei was created or summoned by the Unown but it was still terrifying to understand what had actually happened back then during the therapy sessions. Molly took a deep breath, Rayquaza was not attacking them so they were not the target. She could work with that, yes she could.
Ash, "No one is here?"
Tory, "I would not say no one."
Ash looked at where Tory was pointing, "Oh fuck! One of the attacks hit them. Don't tell me the attacks hit this building first?"
Lucario, -Meema, we will help them. Ring the bell.-
Ash, "Tory, please help my Pokemon. I am ringing the alarm."
Tory, "Okay!"
Ash looked at the buttons, "Evacuation alarm! Evacuation alarm! Ah! Found it."
A loud siren rand across the City with a robotic voice speaking, [Citizens of LaRousse, this is not a drill. This is a code black alarm. Evacuate the City in a line. This is not a drill. This is a code black alarm. Please evacuate the City.]
Tory, "You found the alarm switch."
Ash, "We need to go as well. they need medical treatment not mere first - aid."
One of the officers woke up, "Huh? What happened?"
Ash, "Sir... Anton, Sir Anton, you and your team was hit by one of Alpha Rayquaza's attacks. We are moving you and your team to safety."
Anton grunted, "I remember now. Fuck! I do not know how we are alive."
Tory spoke quietly, "I think your Pokemon shielded you all, Sir."
Anton, "What... Oh no! Wobbuffet!"
Ash, "He is alive just exhausted."
Wobbuffet mumbled, "Fet."
Ash, "Rest up tough guy, you did a good job."
A lady with pink hair sat up slowly, "Anton, what happened?"
Anton, "We survived an attack headed straight towards us from Rayquaza, Millie."
Millie stared, "Oh! Oh fuck!"
Ash, "Breath, do not break down here. We are not safe yet. Help the other two Officers up and get out of here. You have one of those teleportation Pokemon?"
Millie nodded, "For emergencies mostly. I suppose this is an emergency."
Ash hummed, "Good! Get out of here. I need to re - group with my team. Tory, make sure to go with them and keep the kids out."
Tory, "What about you?"
Ash, "Like I said, I am re - grouping with my team."
Anton, "I remember you. You were on the television with Champion Ruby."
Tory's eyes widened, "Doesn't Champion Ruby have a Rayquaza as well?"
Ash smirked, "Yes, he does. However, I do not know if this City will survive two Rayquazas battling each other as well."
Millie paled, "Please do not."
Ash sighed, "We won't, besides we do not want to infuriate the already angry Alpha. You know what I mean? Now, enough talk, you need to evacuate and help others do so too. My team and I will deal with the angry Sky Emperor."
Tory watched him go, 'But... No, he is right. How could I help? I am not a battler.'
Millie, "Go after him."
Tory, "Huh?"
Millie smirked, "Young Lund, we can tell you are worried about your new friend. So, go after him, okay?"
Anton, "We will be fine. We are professionals after all. Look, Percy and Todd are waking up as well so we will be fine."
Percy who had orange haire groaned, "Did anyone get the number of the train that ran over me?"
Todd, "It ran over me too. I feel like shit."
Tory, "If you are sure?"
Millie, "Go kid! We will be fine."
Tory nodded and ran out with determined eyes decideing he would do his best to help not just Ash but also his home. He saw Ash guiding more people away from the danger zone and approached him asking what was happening. Ash was surprised to see him but smirked as he nodded as told him he needed to get the people away from here. Tory nodded and escorted the people while calling his Pokemon out that were a Plusle, a Minun, a Happiny and a Kirlia who checked on him first. Ash nodded at Tory and went towards the area where the sounds of battle was coming from and returned to the stage. It was getting late and already evening by the time Ash found Ruby and the rest, they did not look hurt so that was good. Molly ran to him and hugged him and Ash pat her head gently in comfort though he did not say anything at the moment though he knew he had to say something.
Ash, "Is everyone okay? No one hurt, yes?"
Gou, "I am alright, my Pokemon got high potions."
May nodded, "Same with my pokemon.
Max was hugging May, "Yeah, we are okay. I don't think Ruby is though."
Ash looked at where Ruby was, "I will talk to him."
Tory came in after him, "Ash, everyone has been evacuated from the area."
Ash grinned, "Thank you Tory. Could you back up my friends? I am going to back up Ruby."
Tory nodded, "Sure!"
Molly, "Be careful big brother."
Ash, "I will; stay close and safe."
