With the help of another witch, we were able to find Conrad's hideout. By tracing Miranda's presence, Zora, a rogue witch, had been able to pinpoint her location, and at the same time determine that this was where Conrad was currently hiding.
As expected, it was a fortress that had been hidden from the naked eye with magic. We could have searched for a hundred years and still not be able to find him. However, things were different now, and I was prepared to crush him once and for all.
Zora stood beside me, her eyes closed as she muttered an incantation under her breath. The air around us shimmered, the protective wards around Conrad's fortress gradually revealing themselves.
