In the cafeteria, the girls looked at the usually packed cafeteria now was like empty. Normally it would be so packed that they would decide to eat out, but now it was only few people inside.
"What happened to all the people?" Cheng Xiao asked.
"That is all thanks to you." Shen Mu replied.
"Me, what did I do?" Cheng Xiao asked.
"Your design!" Shen Mu said.
"What about it? Is there something wrong with it?" Cheng Xiao asked with worry.
"How can there be anything wrong with your design?" Shen Mu asked.
"It is quite the opposite." Shen Mu added.
"What do you mean by that?" Su Li asked.
"Well, the magazines that were published had been sold out. The creative department are busy publishing new copies; the sales had been on the phone since morning. Everyone seems to want to buy the piece." Shen Mu explain.
"Oh, I get it now, enjoy this day while it last." Su Li said patting Cheng Xiao on the shoulder.
"Why?" Cheng Xiao asked.
"With the waves this design is making, many people are going to be wanting you to design them something as well." Su Li explains.
"I would celebrate as well." Shen Mu said to Su Li.
"Your necklace is also making waves." Shen Mu said.
"I am used to it, she is not." Su Li replied.
"If it is as busy as you say, how do you have time to come and eat?" Cheng Xiao asked.
"I can't starve myself, can I?" Shen Mu replied and took a big spoon in her mouth.
"Slow down, no one is going to take your food." Su Li said watching Shen Mu stuff food into her mouth.
"Stop, what if you choke?" Cheng Xiao said handing Shen Mu a glass of water.
"I'm done; I have to rush back." Shen Mu said standing up.
"Can you take my plate?" Shen Mu asked and they nodded, and she started to run.
"Did our designs do that?" Su Li asked.
"Seems like it." Cheng Xiao replied.
Xu Kai in office saw the numbers increase with a smile. His wife was making waves, and he couldn't be happier, at least now at the end of the month when he takes her back to the old mansion would not be a problem.
In the company they were shocked at how people kept on calling asking when the headpiece would be ready, they had always doubted that Cheng Xiao came to the designing department with no talent, but now she was slapping them in the face. Gu Xixi looked at the magazine in her hands, the cover page was supposed to be hers.
How could she lose to Cheng Xiao who was just a newcomer.
