"Well, let me get to what I wanted to say." He said and took out his iPad.
"Next Friday, the magazine will be released and since you won the competition, your design will be on the cover page and inside your design will appear again." He said and paused to make sure she is following what he was saying.
"You need to write a small essay; it doesn't have to be much it can just be two paragraphs. In those paragraphs, you could describe the design and what it inspired it." He added.
"At least by Monday you should have a draft ready to send it to the editors and then we will take it from there." He spoke.
"Did you understand all that?" He asked.
"Yes sir! I got it I will send you the drafter tomorrow. I would have tonight, but my friend and I are going to celebrate." Cheng Xiao replied.
"I am surprised! You clearly have knowledge for designing, why did you stay as the president's secretary for so long." He said with a frown and asked.
"My mother was sick, and we needed a lot of money at that time." Cheng Xiao replied and stood up.
"I'll get going!" Cheng Xiao bowed and left the office.
Cheng Xiao walked to her desk and started to pack her things; it was time to get off work. Cheng Xiao took her bag after she finished packing, Su Li called her.
"Cheng Xiao!" Su Li called out.
"Yes!" Cheng Xiao replied and looked up.
"Have any plans tonight?" Su Li asked.
"Shen Mu and I going to celebrate." Cheng Xiao replied.
"Can I join, or is it just for you two?" Su Li asked again.
"Not really, you can join us." Cheng Xiao replied.
"Great! Text me the place." Su Li spoke.
They both walked to the elevator together and were having a small talk, they end their talk once they were in the elevator. The elevator started going down and more and more people started to entering, some people when they entered and saw Cheng Xiao, they would offer the congratualtions.
The lift opened and Cheng Xiao and Su Li stepped out, the were walking when they saw Shen Mu waiting. Cheng Xiao and Su Li walked over.
"Shen Mu Su Li, Su Li Shen Mu!" Cheng Xiao introduced the two.
"Hello, Cheng Xiao we already know each other." Shen Mu said with sarcasm resting her hands on her waist.
"She invited me to join you guys later, is it fine with you?" Su Li asked, as much as she wanted to come, she didn't want to be the one who ruined the plans they had.
"Fine? The more the merrier." Shen Mu replied with a smile and went in the middle with them and hooked arms with them.
