Chapter 4 - Hefty Classroom

As I enter the lecture hall, I am once again reminded of how utterly insane the funding for this academy must be. This isn't just some dusty Hogwarts knockoff with flickering torches and old wooden benches. No, no, no!!! This is a marvel of magical-modern design. It's as if the Ministry of Magic and Silicon Valley had a very passionate, very arcane baby.

The doors behind me: massive mahogany-like arches carved with runes that shift ever so slightly depending on who walks through them, close with a soft click. No creaking hinges. No echoing thuds. Just a quiet, intelligent silence that acknowledges your presence.

My boots echo faintly as I step onto the emerald-black obsidian black marble flooring, veined with glowing lines of mana like the synapses of a cosmic brain. The moment I walk past the threshold, a luminescent HUD flickers to life in the air beside me, displaying today's lecture schedule, student attendance, mana interference zones, and oh joy, my instructor rank. It still says "Senior Lead Apprentice" I really need to talk to someone about upgrading my branding. It feels more like those shady HRs in earth who randomly hand out titles like VP.

The classroom stretches in a grand, amphitheatre-style descent: like a Roman colosseum married a European university lecture hall. Tiered marble benches curve gracefully around the central podium, each level enchanted with gentle gravity fields to make sure students don't trip while climbing or standing.

Above the students hovers a panoramic mana-screen, clear as crystal but alive with floating glyphs and auto-refreshing diagrams. It tracks each student's elemental affinity in real time, giving gentle pings when they lose focus or attempt unauthorized spells. And believe me, they try. Goodness Imagine you come to college for sleeping and this nudgy thing disturbs you.

The students are already here: hundreds of them, why? Guess this title works. A kaleidoscope of races, shapes, and energies. Some have notebooks; others just nod toward their floating quills which scribble notes mid-air on magical parchment.

Some wear robes, some armoured uniforms, some in casual elemental-regulated fabric. A few clearly belong to noble houses, if the gilded insignias and mana-thread embroidery are anything to go by.

I begin descending the steps, each footfall echoing with more purpose now. I pass by a girl with spirit fire braided into her hair, come on what are we another good ol' familiar novel? it dances like a crown, blue and weightless.

I realize as I walk that I'm supposed to be authoritative here. Me, a half-amnesiac wanderer from another world, now standing before the residents of a galaxy that believes in getting stronger by any means, expected to teach Mana Algebra and Chain Calculus.

Great.

As I finally reach the stage desk: a sleek slab of obsidian-like material that responds to mana touch. As I place my hand upon it, the entire wall behind me ignites into colour. The panoramic mana-screen expands, forming a glowing schematic of today's lecture. Arcs of light begin drawing outlines in real time:

But that's not what's Important right now. Is there any possible story here ? Any protagonist I can find and guide or remain my distance from? All these students look shabby to be honest. It's like seeing 10th grade kids in 12th grade and now suddenly you see 10th grade kids in college as some idiot lil kids awaiting to be pushed and fall down. (Okay that was violent)

Looking at all these students they seem like a class of football players: Some are Forward, some Midfield, some Back, few Sweepers and last one Goalkeepers

I would say I have spotted a few Forwards the annoying extrovert bunch: Matt, Luke, Brandon, Sky, Rose, Cherry. Hopefully they would just not start a bullying trope. They could be protag group here too.

For the next Midfield ones I would say these bunch would assist the protag are already have a direction where to influence things their names are also NPC like Ron, Paul, Henry, Sasha, Padma, Blade, Lilly, August, May. I am tired now

There are few more like Ball grabbers (Sweepers) and Goalkeepers (strategists) but it's too much to keep the count. I'll just mark the ones that look like worth noting with progression of time.

"Hoo!!!" Let's do this. (In mic). Finger snap to send wind blade very small to everyone (hope that monk can still survive those last 3 hair)

I'm your Prof. Wade, As you already know I'll be teaching you Mana Algebra and Calculus in Mana. I'll warn you the math is the easiest part here, Of course you already have that figured out by now.
