Yan Luoxi patted the spot beside her and Yanling walked over, sitting down by the edge of the bed. Yan Luoxi looked at him earnestly and said, "Xiaoling, Mommy will never be mad at you."
"You were just mad at me," Yanling pouted, almost about to cry.
Yan Luoxi gently held his hand. She leaned down slightly to meet his eyes, which were staring unblinkingly, "Xiaoling, Mommy wasn't mad at you, Mommy just didn't agree with what you did."
Yanling lowered his head and said nothing.
"Xiaoling, do you think what you did just now was right?" Yan Luoxi continued asking.
Yanling thought for a moment and shook his head, "No, it wasn't right."
"So when you do something wrong, shouldn't you apologize?" Yan Luoxi encouraged softly.
Yanling nodded, "Yes."
"So Mommy asked you to apologize because you were wrong, not because she was mad at you," Yan Luoxi emphasized the last sentence deliberately, not wanting Xiaoling to feel that she didn't love him.
