Anabelle's POV
I waited expectantly for the results of the scan. I was nervous and happy at the same time I looked at Gaius who had a frown on his face as he checked the monitor..
"What's wrong?" I asked worriedly.
"It's a girl." He broke the news.
"A…girl?" Sweat trickled down my forehead.
"Are you sure this child is for the Alpha?" He asked and I could feel he was irritated.
I grabbed the hand of the chair I was sitting tightly on,I swallowed my saliva in fear…
"What do you mean!" I yelled at him.
"Is the child for Jake or for him??" He folded his arms.
I gritted my teeth in anger and glared at him furiously. I could feel that my eyes were ablaze when I felt my baby reacting to the anger I calmed down.
"It… is… for… Jake." I stammered.
"I see." He eyed me suspiciously.
Gaius then faced the monitor again and continued to watch the movement of the fetus. I breathed a sigh of relief.
"Just so you know if the child doesn't have the Alpha blood in it…." He paused
