Chapter 10 - Hello ago Rin

Ritsuka let out a sigh, scratching the back of his head as he glanced at the chat.

[Chat:]

"Bro got caught in 4K."

"They didn't even hesitate to snitch."

"Millennium built different. You blow up a classroom, and they just tell you to go to the office like it's a normal Tuesday."

"No detention, just 'Come with me, young man.'"

He raised his hands in surrender. "Alright, alright, no need to yell." He grabbed his upgraded Desert Eagle, making sure the safety was on.

Yuuka gave him a side glance. "Good luck. You're going to need it."

Aris grinned. "Just say you were testing out Millennium's structural integrity!"

Ritsuka rolled his eyes and followed Rio out of the classroom. The moment they stepped into the hallway, she stopped and turned to face him, arms crossed.

"Do you have any idea what you just did?" she asked, her voice cold and sharp.

"Shot a gun?" Ritsuka replied casually.

Rio narrowed her eyes. "Your little 'shot' overloaded Millennium's security grid, momentarily disabled power in several research labs, and triggered a Level 2 energy surge warning. Do you understand how serious that is?"

Ritsuka blinked. "Wait, Level 2? What's Level 1 then?"

"City-wide blackout," Rio deadpanned.

[Chat:]

"BRO NEARLY CAUSED A NATIONAL INCIDENT?!"

"Ritsuka casually committing science war crimes."

"Ain't no way Millennium security runs on a AAA battery."

"Wait, what if he actually did shoot at full power?"

Ritsuka sighed. "Okay, so maybe I miscalculated the energy output a tiny bit. Look, it's fine! No one got hurt, right?"

Rio pinched the bridge of her nose. "No, but that's not the point. The Student Council President—Rio—is already looking into this. You're lucky I'm the one dealing with you first."

Just as she finished speaking, an announcement played over the school speakers.

"Ritsuka Morning star, report to the Student Council Room immediately. I repeat, Ritsuka Morning star, report to the Student Council Room immediately."

Ritsuka sighed and turned to the chat. "Welp. I think I just unlocked a boss fight."

[Chat:]

"Skill Issue."

"You about to 1v1 the most dangerous girl in Millennium."

"At least go out in style."

"Nah, bro needs a lawyer."

As he followed Rio toward the Student Council Room, Ritsuka could only hope this wouldn't end in another explosion.

After a while, Ritsuka was in the main room of the students council building as he went ok the president room, as Rin was looking at him.

Rin spoke looking at him. "Not even one day we brought from the mains, and you did th- jahahhahahahahhahahahahahahah, sorry your trouble I couldn't keep this up anymore, plus be happy your dear old dad Sensei, has a lot of power in this Nation".

Ritsuka blinked as Rin suddenly broke into laughter, the serious atmosphere instantly shattering. He glanced at the chat, who were just as confused.

[Chat:]

"Wait, what?"

"Rin's got jokes??"

"Bro thought he was about to get expelled."

"Sensei pulling strings behind the scenes."

Ritsuka sighed and slumped into a chair. "So, you're not actually mad?"

Rin wiped a tear from her eye, still chuckling. "Oh, don't get me wrong, you caused a lot of trouble. But Millennium is basically held together by duct tape and caffeine at this point. If we freaked out over every explosion, we'd never get anything done."

[Chat:]

"Millennium is basically a mad scientist daycare."

"Explosions = Normal. Noted."

"This place is a war crime waiting to happen."

Ritsuka raised an eyebrow. "Then why drag me here? Just to mess with me?"

Rin leaned forward, smirking. "Partially. But also because Mika wants to meet you."

The air in the room suddenly felt heavier. Ritsuka crossed his arms. "Mika? The actual President?"

Rin nodded. "Yeah. She's... curious about you. You're an anomaly—an Angel that doesn't belong to any of the schools, yet somehow, Sensei managed to register you into all of them. That's not normal."

Ritsuka rolled his eyes. "Well, I'm not normal, so it fits."

Rin chuckled. "Fair point. Anyway, she's waiting for you upstairs. Try not to piss her off too much."

Ritsuka sighed, standing up. "Great. First the Student Council Vice President, now the actual President. What's next? A meeting with the Headmaster?"

[Chat:]

"Oh, you know that's coming."

"Final Boss Mika incoming."

"Chat, place your bets. Will Ritsuka survive?"

With that, Ritsuka made his way upstairs, bracing himself for whatever chaos was about to unfold.

Rin then spoke. "But you did one thing good".

Ritsuka looked at him as he spoke. "What is it?".

Rin smirked as she spoke. "I can finally push for all 200 different of my plans too fix the school".

Ritsuka blinked. "Wait... 200 plans?"

Rin crossed her arms, still smirking. "Millennium is a mess, Ritsuka. The moment you caused chaos, I finally got the excuse I needed to push for all my reforms. Now the higher-ups have to listen."

[Chat:]

"Ritsuka accidentally became a revolutionary."

"Bro just pulled a 'for the greater good' without realizing."

"Rin has been waiting for this moment her whole life."

Ritsuka rubbed his temples. "You're telling me my messing around just gave you enough leverage to fix the entire school?"

Rin nodded. "Pretty much."

Ritsuka sighed. "I don't know if I should be proud or terrified."

[Chat:]

"Proud. Definitely proud."

"Millennium's about to change forever."

"Imagine causing a political shift on your first day."

Ritsuka shook his head. "Fine, whatever. So what's Mika want with me?"

Rin shrugged. "No idea. But she doesn't call people unless she's very interested in them." She then leaned in slightly. "I'd be careful if I were you."

Ritsuka smirked. "Careful's not really my style."

Rin chuckled. "Yeah, I figured." She then gestured toward the door. "Alright, off you go. The President's waiting."

Ritsuka took a deep breath and walked toward the door leading to Mika's office, the weight of the situation finally settling in.

[Chat:]

"Oh, this is gonna be good."

"Final Boss Mika moment."

"Pray for Ritsuka."

Rin then grabbed his phone. "Also no streaming it".

She close the Stream, as Ritsuka walked up too the Elevator, as it started too go up, after a while the door had open too see a Woman.

She has long sky-blue hair that's violet on the inner side, long bangs that cover her left eye, and a loose braid tied on her left side.

Her halo is a white ring with a blue star in the center slightly to the right. Pretty much looks like the Blue Archive logo. The halo is located overhead but leaning slightly to the right.

She wears a white jacket over a long double-breasted dress with gold buttons, and a pair of high white boots. On her right chest is a wide star badge whereas on her left chest is a badge supported with blue cloth and gold stars. On her collar are stars situated both slightly to the left and right.

[Insert Image of GSC President]

Ritsuka looked as he golped, truth be told there was much about know too the general Public, like at all, even her name, Mika was a nickname, only things he knew was that she went missing for 2 years and then his dad found him.

President gave him a soft smile as she spoke. "Please too meet you morning star, why don't you take a seat".

Mika chuckled softly, resting her hands on the desk. "Oh? But isn't that what makes you special?"

Ritsuka tensed slightly. There was something about the way she said that—like she knew more than she should. "I'd rather be known for what I do, not for the name I carry."

Mika tilted her head, amusement flickering in her visible eye. "A noble thought. But names hold weight, Ritsuka. And your name carries quite a bit, doesn't it?"

Ritsuka narrowed his eyes. "Alright, I'll bite. What exactly do you want from me, President?"

Mika leaned forward slightly, her fingers interlocked. "I have a proposal for you."

[Chat (off-screen, but you know they'd be freaking out if they were watching)]

"WHAT DID SHE MEAN BY THAT???"

"Bro is being recruited for something insane, I feel it."

"Mika gives off final boss energy, and I'm scared."

Ritsuka leaned back in his chair. "A proposal, huh? Let's hear it."

Mika's soft smile never wavered. "I want you to join the General Student Council."

Ritsuka looked as he spoke. "I decline".

She spoke. "Very well we can ge- wait what?".

Mika blinked, clearly caught off guard. "You're… declining?"

Ritsuka leaned back, arms crossed. "Yeah. No offense, but I already have my hands full with classes across fourteen different schools. Adding the General Student Council on top of that? Sounds like a fast track to no free time."

Mika stared at him for a moment before chuckling. "You're an interesting one, Ritsuka."

[Chat:]

"HE SAID NO?!"

"Bro just rejected The Mika. Respect."

"She wasn't expecting that LMAO."

Mika sighed, leaning back in her chair. "Well, I suppose I can't force you… but, are you sure? You'd have access to resources beyond what any normal student could dream of."

Ritsuka shrugged. "I already have more resources than most. And besides, I like my freedom."

Mika gave him a knowing smile. "I see. In that case… I'll respect your decision. But if you ever change your mind, my door is always open."

Ritsuka stood up, giving her a nod. "Noted. Now, if that's all, I've got a class to get to."

As he turned to leave, Mika called out. "One last thing."

Ritsuka stopped, glancing back.

Mika's expression remained unreadable. "Be careful. The more attention you draw, the more eyes will be on you. Some… less friendly than others."

Ritsuka smirked. "Noted. But I can handle myself."

With that, he walked out, leaving the President of the General Student Council watching him go, a curious glint in her eyes.

Ritsuka then stopped as he looker at her. "Can I call you President, my roommate is Misono Mika, it is gonna get confusing in the future".

Mika chuckled softly at that. "Fair enough. You may call me President."

Ritsuka nodded. "Cool. Anyway, I'll be heading out now."

As he walked out, he could hear the chat going wild.

[Chat:]

"ROOMMATE?!"

"Wait, he just casually dropped that like it's nothing."

"Misono Mika as in Abydos' Mika? How is his life this insane?"

"Bro's living in a crossover event."

Ritsuka sighed as he glanced at his phone. "Man, chat, you guys freak out over everything."

Just as he stepped into the hallway, he got a message notification.

[Message from: Misono Mika]

Mika: "Did you just tell the world we're roommates?"

Mika: "…"

Mika: "You better not be streaming in the Home."

Ritsuka smirked. "No promises."

Rin saw him come out the elevator as she looked as she spoke. "You said No to her, I gotta say that is something".

Ritsuka shrugged. "Yeah, well, I don't exactly trust people who smile like they already know my entire life story."

Rin chuckled, crossing her arms. "Smart. Most people just nod their heads and do whatever she says."

[Chat:]

"Ritsuka built different fr."

"Nah, he just doesn't wanna deal with secret boss energy."

"How does he keep meeting the most powerful people in this city?"

"Main character syndrome."

Ritsuka sighed. "Alright, since my dear old dad has so much power in this nation, that means I can just go to class now, right?"

Rin smirked. "Sure, sure. But first—" She tossed his phone back to him. "No streaming in official meetings. We don't need another incident like what happened at Gehenna."

Ritsuka caught the phone, rolling his eyes. "Yeah, yeah. I get it. No leaking state secrets, blah blah."

He turned to leave, but then Rin added, "Oh, and Ritsuka?"

He glanced back. "What?"

Rin grinned. "Welcome to Millennium."

Rin then grabbed his turn of his phone. "Enough of the stream, your first one in Abydos was 7 hourse, this was 8".

Ritsuka blinked. "Wait, eight hours? No wonder my battery's almost dead."

[Chat:]

"Bro really out here doing full shifts as a streamer."

"Does he even sleep??"

"I swear his life is just one long anime episode."

"Rin out here acting like his mom lol."

Rin sighed, rubbing her temples. "Look, I get it, you're having fun. But we have actual things to do here, and you're making me work overtime cleaning up the chaos you leave behind."

Ritsuka smirked. "Hey, you said it yourself—my dad has a lot of power here. You'll be fine."

Rin deadpanned. "That doesn't mean I want to deal with this every day."

Ritsuka shrugged. "Well, maybe next time, you should tell the GSC President to stop making everything so streamable."

Rin let out an exasperated sigh, tossing his phone back to him. "Just… go to class already."

Ritsuka checked his notifications. "Damn, chat really loved that last segment. But yeah, I should probably go before another 'incident' happens."

He turned to leave, waving lazily over his shoulder. "Later, Rin."

Rin muttered under her breath as she watched him go. "That kid is going to be the death of me."

Ritsuka then return home, as he ended his stream for the day, he arrived in his home, opned the door, only too see Mika holding her gun too his face.

Ritsuka blinked as he stared down the barrel of Mika's gun. "You know, this is not the kind of welcome home I was expecting."

Mika narrowed her eyes. "Explain."

Ritsuka sighed, kicking off his shoes. "You're gonna have to be a bit more specific. I've done a lot today."

Mika's eye twitched. "You denied the President."

Ritsuka casually walked past her, ignoring the gun still aimed at him. "Oh, that. Yeah, figured it'd be a bad idea to get tangled up in all that. I've got enough on my plate already."

Mika slowly lowered her gun. "You're either the bravest idiot I've ever met… or the dumbest genius."

[Chat:]

"Bro really just ignored a loaded gun to his face."

"He's got main character plot armor, obviously."

"Mika is THIS close to just shooting him for real."

Ritsuka flopped onto the couch, rubbing his eyes. "Look, Mika, I just spent the entire day running around multiple schools, dealing with explosions, getting shot at, and somehow surviving the GSC President. I am tired. Can we save the interrogation for tomorrow?"

Mika huffed, crossing her arms. "Fine. But don't think this conversation is over."

Ritsuka waved a hand dismissively. "Yeah, yeah. Night, Mika."

She sighed, shaking her head before heading to her own room. "You're impossible."

Ritsuka smirked as he stretched. "And yet, you all love me for it."

Mika looked at his phone as he spoke. "Also turn that shit of"

Ritsuka looked at his one going stream. "I did, how is this keep gong".

[Chat:]

"You keep pressing the On and Of Button at the same time".

Ritsuka groaned, rubbing his temples. "Great, so my own tech is betraying me now."

Mika rolled her eyes. "More like your own stupidity is betraying you."

[Chat:]

"Bro really out here fighting his own phone."

"The ultimate boss battle: The Stream That Won't End."

"Even Mika is done with his nonsense."

Ritsuka sighed and manually restarted his phone. As the screen went dark, he double-checked to make sure the stream was actually off this time.

Mika sat down across from him, arms crossed. "So, are you done embarrassing yourself in front of thousands of people now?"

Ritsuka leaned back with a smirk. "Mika, my entire life is an embarrassment. The stream just makes sure the world gets to enjoy it in real-time."

Mika groaned, rubbing her forehead. "You're impossible."

[Chat:]

"Bro actually embraced the cringe."

"Mika's suffering is the best entertainment."

"At this point, he should just accept being a full-time streamer."

Ritsuka finally relaxed, tossing his phone onto the table. "Alright, no more surprises today. I'm gonna sleep."

Mika stood up, grabbing a blanket and tossing it at him. "Good. Maybe your brain will start working again tomorrow."

Ritsuka caught the blanket, giving her a thumbs-up. "No promises."
