In the meantime, the preparation for the special exam was under way, rapidly.
Students were forming pairs with the first years quite fast too.
Sakayanagi's class didn't need any instructions as they were already all academically gifted.
More like they were aiming for the first place, to gain 50 class points.
Ichinose decided to help the first years with low confidence, so maybe they have less chances of getting first place.
But, I am pretty sure that they can bear their weight as they are pretty smart too in studying.
The lacklusters were us and Ryuen's class.
Well, Ryuen used his private points to appoint first years with higher academic abilities, which is one way to approach this special exam too.
Then, there is our class.
At this point in time, only 3 to 4 days remain till the actual exam takes place, which means soon the pairing window will be closed on the OAA app.
But, except me, Kushida and that girl named Morishita, no one had made any pairs, as they were waiting for Horikita's instructions.
Her plan was to pair up with class 1D, who are considered defective themselves.
In a way, such that, our students who are in the risk of getting expelled due to low scores, would be paired up with an academically higher scoring student from first year.
In exchange, our smart students would pair up with their dumb students.
That sums up her plan, which is pretty solid in itself.
But, there is something she didn't consider, which is Hosen's stubborness, or should I say his other scheme.
He demanded private points, in case they agree to this plan, which is simply unacceptable.
I mean, they are getting helped too, so why would we pay them?
Just because we are on greater risk, and that is to get expelled?
Well, that is the reason for his stubborness, if I had to say, his way of threatening.
We would lose our classmates, but they would just lose their pocket money for some months.
Maybe he knew that we have no other way to approach this exam, for which except a few students of his class, no one has formed any pairs, yet, just like ours.
But he had some other plans too, which I was aware of, you know, from the CCTVs I had hacked into and the systems I had access to.
The good thing about this school is that security of the control systems is pretty lapse, which means you can gain access to anything you are able to, and no one would even notice, until there is no major discrepancy.
Well, that's good for me only though.
Anyway, Hosen's plan was all set to take off.
But the problem is he is not the only one scheming this time.
All the four classes of first year are scheming against the same student.
And you know who it is.
This whole special exam is just as staged as any movie or fiction you have seen.
That too, just to expel one student of class 2B, Kiyotaka Ayanokouji.
And you know the perpetrator too, Tsukishiro.
It was just that all of the first years are involved in this scheme.
Also there is one more thing to consider.
Since, I dealt with Tsukishiro to help him expel Ayanokouji, I am also in this plan as well.
Ayanokouji is a monster in tactics and strategies both, so he might be able to dodge each and every attacks.
So, should I try to expel him myself, or play the double game from both sides and benefit as much as I can.
The choice was simple, yet executing it would be difficult, or so I thought, when the opportunity presented itself in front of me.
It's Saturday, just a few days away from the exam.
Horikita insisted we take a preliminary test to assess ourselves for this special exam.
At first the students were reluctant, since they hadn't formed pairs yet, but after Horikita reassured them of that part, everyone agreed.
So during revision time, we were to take short test on each subject and check amongst ourselves by forming pairs.
As our class consisted of 39 students, Horikita said she would assess herself, and we formed 19 pairs without her based on random roll numbers.
Guess who I got paired up with.
Yes, it was Kiyotaka Ayanokouji himself.
It's not like I didn't get any chance to communicate with him till now, but I purposely avoided it cause I know how terrifying his observation skills are.
But now that it's just a test, let's take this chance to communicate with him.
