The two sat in the shop and waited for the clerk to type up the order, then Xavier left his home address and phone number and walked out of the shop with Madeline in his hand in full view.
He glanced faintly around at the other counters and asked, "Is there anything else you want to buy?"
Madeline immediately took his hand and led him quickly out the door, "Enough, Hubby."
"You can still buy more." Xavier added.
Madeline gave him a blank stare, "Do you think I'm a shopaholic? It's not easy to make money, can't you just save it?"
"Why are you acting like a housekeeper?" Xavier lightly rubbed her hair.
"You have a problem with that?" Madeline asked softly.
"I wouldn't dare have." Xavier responded with a smile.
