The moment the door opened, Paige had a worried look on her face and clasped her hands on Madeline's shoulders.
"Miss Crawford, what's wrong with you?"
Madeline let out a long, depressed sigh.
"Come sleep at your house for one night."

Paige realized that something must be wrong, so she immediately caught up with Madeline and pulled her to sit on the sofa.
"What's wrong exactly? What's the conflict between you and Xavier?"
Hearing the name Xavier, Madeline could not help but smile bitterly at once.

"He's Xavier Blackwell. My husband."
