An unexpected event occurred after Gu Hang's speech concluded.
The Holy Terra Palace is situated on a plateau once known as the Roof of the World. The road leading to the palace is a long ascent, with the east gate being grand and magnificent. The walls, towering over a hundred meters thick, rise from the ground. They are not merely walls but more like a towering architectural complex named as such. Many cannon ports and anti-aircraft platforms are embedded within, where the garrison can be stationed. Behind the walls, tower after tower, bastions, and hornwork are linked by bridges, forming a very complex and three-dimensional defense structure.
The walls encircling the plateau of the Holy Terra Palace, regardless of how much gold paint or relief decorations adorn them, are fundamentally military structures. All those seemingly carved railings and jade-like decorations are weaponry capable of extending gun barrels out.
But these are only the first layer of defense for the palace.
