Zelnos thought for a moment and decided to surrender.
He could accept death, but not true death.
For any member of the Spirit Race, their soul falling into the hands of Slaanesh was more brutal than any torture.
His soul container had been tampered with, it couldn't return; but at least it wasn't directly severed from his connection with Comoros. The protection between the veil was still effective, so he and his subordinates would not have their souls instantly drained away.
But if he died, that would be the end. Unable to resurrect from the soul container, their souls would fall into Slaanesh's hands.
Better to surrender.
Though falling into the hands of humans didn't mean there was a way out. That race, known as the most insane purists in the universe, harbored strong hostility towards all aliens.
