A rather futile day, Malin and his team searched eleven sacrifice centers but found nothing. As night was about to fall, Malin had to stop the search. He opened the portal and let the team enter the semi-plane for rest.
Because it's safer that way, it's too dangerous in the city. Maybe Malin can survive, but others... Malin really doesn't have confidence to protect them, so for safety's sake, Malin let everyone enter the portal first. When only Maya was left at the scene, Malin looked toward the empty street on the side.
Maya noticed Malin's little gesture, she looked there but found nothing.
"Let's go inside." The woman's subtle instincts made Maya extend her hand, but what she expected did not happen. Malin raised his head and looked at her: "Darling, you go in first."
Looking into Malin's eyes, dark as ink, Maya finally nodded and walked into the portal without looking back.
