The Endless Sea is perpetually shrouded by heavy clouds, illuminated only by the lightning storms and the flames ignited upon the sea surface. Yet, in those floating World Islands, the weather is mostly sunny, the world barrier shielding them from external erosion, keeping the storm at bay.
However, not every floating World Island possesses such mass. Some fragmented worlds feel like drafty wooden shacks, blocking most of the intrusion but still appearing quite dim.
Reefs appear illogically in these originally unfathomable waters. Upon close observation, one can find that these 'reefs' seem to be the peaks of mountains immersed in the sea.
Relying on these 'reefs' as support, platforms are built between the mountains, stringing together to form a grand city resembling a mountain fortress.
This city, supported by the 'reefs' below, is mostly suspended, resembling a massive offshore oil rig.
