Chapter 375 - TEB: Arias's Rampage!

Across the maze of buildings traveled Gerald and Samantha, fazed by the buildings' unrecognizable formation. "I've never seen a road lead straight into a building like that!" Gerald complained, holding in a large volume of puke. Samantha's eyes rolled, continuing down the unusual trail that would certainly lead them towards the goal.

---

Samantha slouched onto a nearby bench, plopping the map onto Gerald's lap and releasing a loud groan. "This is the 20th time we've passed this bench!" she shouted, her head slowly spiraling out of control. "At this rate, we'll be dead before our first year in the Academy even begin-"

"OH YEAH!?" a loud yet confident scream echoed from the distance, pushing Samantha off the bench in fear. She resembled this familiar voice to Arias, who was well-known for screaming loudly whenever harbored by pure confidence. "Samantha," Gerald chimed in, "isn't Arias supposed to be trapped in a bag?" That was the moment large bolts of electricity descended from the surrounding buildings, pouring into the streets and catching the duo by surprise. "Seems like I've run into two of Kevin's friends!" he monologued, revealing himself among the bright, thick bolts of lightning dancing through the streets. "Samantha and… I don't believe I know your name, but that won't stop me from ACHIEVING VICTORY!" Gerald examined his grin of confidence, comparing it to Kevin's grin of determination. He stepped in front of Samantha, igniting orange flames of fire across both his legs - this time, with no physical injuries. "Seems like I never received your name either," he replied, observing Arias's excessive hand rubbing, hyping his confidence. "Let's make a little deal - winner has to reveal their first name and power, and loser has to learn their past opponent's name once they rise from the Academy's ranks all the way towards the TOP!" Arias smiled at Gerald's promise, bashing both his fists together. "Let's see what you've got!"

The flames around Gerald's leg darkened, settling alongside his growing focus. Without a second thought, Arias lunged forward with his crackling hands extended towards Gerald's head. "A fire user, eh!?"

Gerald leaped into the air, recalling the warning given by the teachers before the race. "I can't get too far into this," he mumbled, examining Arias's prideful expression. "At the moment, winning the race is my second priority - the first is making sure no blood is shed during this fight!"

Arias shouted, pushing off the ground and ascending towards Gerald, who let out a shocked gasp. His fire danced through the skies, slamming Arias's man-made electricity straight into his face. "Seems like you really are a fighter after all!" he admired. "Enough waiting, how about we take this battle to the goal?"

---

Kevin took multiple short breaths, overwhelmed by Michael and Alex's constant movement. "WHY DIDN'T YOU LET HIM KEEP UP!?" Alex shouted, initiating a fight between him and Michael for what seemed like the thousandth time. His struggle for air concluded with a final large wheeze, emerging from the ground and taking his first look towards the beautiful grassfields. "About time… I can just taste victory now!" Michael and Alex's watchful gazes descended towards the orange-glowing circle symbolizing the goal, blooming an excited smile across their faces. "Seems like we're the first ones here aswell!" they celebrated. They pushed off the buildings, slowly walking towards the goal with Kevin across their backs. "Even if it was short and easy, we still managed to pull through!" Alex celebrated, smiling at Kevin for one of the first times. "Y'know, maybe you aren't that bad of a partner…"

A weak grin stretched across Kevin's face, intercepted by another strong nauseous feeling. "Say, you two should join our new team! We're aspiring to be the best entity hunters in the nation, and one day we'll explore the haunted and dangerous streets of ENTITY all on our own!"

Michael's eyes bulged open, the wind blowing his black hair through the air. "ENTITY? That city hasn't been part of Crystal City ever since that one government official from Diamond City went missing and never came back! Either way, joining your team will help us reach for even higher dreams - both me and Alex are dreaming to be captain of the NFEHH and take over the Temple of Ancientism in the Grand Province, so we'll join and continue our rivalry while dedicating our loyalty to Team ENTITY!"

Kevin grinned in response to Michael's statement, confirmed by Alex with a delightful nod. Although the simplicity of this conversation led Michael and Alex into joining Team ENTITY, their bonds grew stronger with each passing day - and this was where it all began.

Just milliseconds before the trio stepped towards the goal, both Gerald and Arias soared across the city skyline, both their bodies slamming straight into the glowing circle that ended the race. Clueless, their heads turned towards Michael, Alex, and Kevin. "All that, just for it to end in a TIE!?" Arias shouted.

And so, this is where the bonds of Team ENTITY first formed. Kevin, inspired by his father's adventures, Gerald, willing to follow Kevin anywhere due to his everlasting impact, Samantha, striving to avenge her sister, and Michael and Alex, both working towards the goal of becoming NFEHH captain. This was the very day these four dreams united - creating the team that would later begin stirring up but also resolving chaos across the entity world. However, their goals towards being entity hunters would grow stronger in just a few month's time, for an entity attack was preparing to unleash on their innocent hometown.

Turning his back away from the stump, Victor tied a colorful, hand-sewn bracelet across his wrist. "Seems like my plan is going well so far," he mumbled, captivated by the raging waves of nostalgia yet again. "However, it seems like I'm too late in preventing what is to come for me."
