Chapter 4 - Chapter 4 - How to break the limit?

Seated cross-legged upon a violet-gold futon woven from Heavenly Silkworm threads, Ji Xue's small figure appeared solemn and dignified.

If one ignored her eyes.

Those eyes were utterly lifeless.

Like two salted fish abandoned beneath the sun.

Ancient runes revolved around her in orderly cycles, rising and falling in accordance with mysterious principles. Threads of spatial law intertwined above her head, sometimes condensing into lotus patterns, sometimes dispersing into flowing mist.

The chamber itself was extraordinary.

Every brick was carved from previous materials. Every curtain was embroidered with formation lines capable of suppressing Saints. The air was thick with Dao resonance; even an ordinary cultivator sitting here for half a day would gain immeasurable comprehension.

Sitting cross-legged upon a violet-gold futon woven from Heavenly Silkworm threads, Ji Xue revealed a pair of lifeless "dead fish" eyes.

Yet—

Ji Xue's thoughts drifted like a lazy cloud.

"Why is there no automatic cultivation mode in this world…"

She nearly sighed aloud.

The cultivation path of this era was grand and orthodox, forged through countless generations of supreme beings:

Wheel Sea.

Dao Palace.

Four Poles.

Dragon Transformation.

Sendai.

Each realm was a heaven in itself.

The Wheel Sea Secret Realm was divided into four stages:

Sea of Bitterness.

Fountain of Life.

Divine Bridge.

Other Shore.

The Sea of Bitterness refined suffering into power.

The Fountain of Life drew vitality from within.

The Divine Bridge connected mortality to transcendence.

The Other Shore glimpsed the immortal boundary.

The Dao Palace Secret Realm required refinement of the five divine treasures:

Heart, liver, spleen, lungs, kidneys.

Each organ became a palace.

Each palace required long meditation, countless insights, and painful tempering.

Beyond the Dao Palace lay the Four Poles Secret Realm.

To anchor heaven and earth.

To stabilize space.

To temper the limbs into pillars capable of bearing the firmament.

At this realm, cultivators drew upon the power of the cardinal directions, refining their arms and legs into supports of the Great Dao. Each breakthrough was accompanied by violent heavenly tribulation-like backlash from the body itself.

Further up was Dragon Transformation.

Each spinal segment was akin to a dormant true dragon, coiled and breathing.

If fully awakened, her physical body alone could rival ancient divine beasts.

Next up was Sendai Realm

The Sendai Secret Realm was the realm of forging the Immortal Platform. To build a Sendai was to build an altar for the Dao within one's own body.

In this realm, cultivators no longer tempered flesh alone.

They tempered their Dao.

Divine consciousness condensed into substance. Thoughts became blades. Intent became reality.

One glance could suppress mountains.

One word could shake the heavens.

Compared to Sendai, Ji Xue was too far away. Currently, she had completed the Wheel Sea realm.

Her Sea of Bitterness was not bitter at all. It was clear as crystal jade, vast and calm. No turbid qi churned within; no resentment lingered.

Her Fountain of Life roared like an endless spring from primordial chaos, vitality surging without depletion.

Her Divine Bridge arched flawlessly across her inner world, radiant and steady.

Her Other Shore shimmered with immortal light, faintly reflecting a phantom palace beyond existence.

She had reached the absolute limit of Wheel Sea.

But she refused to break through.

Not because she couldn't but because her vision was too high.

Though she said she didn't want to become an Immortal or Immortal Emperor. But after coming to such a magnificent world, who wouldn't want to reach Immortality.

If she had an Immortal lifespan, she could watch as many animes as she wants and play games for Eternity. All the novels and mangas in the world will become her spiritual food.

In order to accomplish the dream of eternal spiritual food, Ji Xue seriously thought about cultivation for the first time.

Currently, she had reached the limit of the Wheel Sea realm. Her Sea of Suffering now was thousands of not tens of thousands of times larger than ordinary people. She had compared it to the disciples in the family and it was even comparable to peak stage of Dao Palace.

The overflowing Chaotic QI in her Wheel Sea had already begun naturally nourishing her five organs.

But Ji Xue wasn't satisfied. If she wanted to protect the Ji family and enjoy a lazy life later, she must cultivate a Supreme foundation. To do so, she must break through the limit of the Wheel Sea realm.

At least she should be able to kill a Drago bht transformation monk in the Wheel Swa realm.

As the Chaos Body, it shouldn't be hard to cross two major realms to fight the enemy. She just needs to step into the reason of Forbidden Gods

"Ahem..." Ji Xue coughed lightly and she felt she had set her goal a little too high. Even the Emperor didn't have the combat power of Forbidden God in Wheel Sea Realm and Forbidden Gods can't cross major search easily.

But Ji Xue wasn't in vain. Although she is lazy, she has many ideas in her small head and many of them come from various animes and cultivation novels. Plus, she was a novel writer in her previous life. So, she has lots of ideas.

She, Ji Xue will be satisfied as long as she can defeat a Four Poles monk in her current Realm.

Certainly, thus isn't because she had grand ambitions of aspirations.

But because Hero Seiya has taught us that caution is necessary in life. The higher the realm she can jump to fight the better. It will help her in pretending to be a pig to eat a tiger in the future.

Ji Xue closed her eyes and focused on the most mysterious place on her body, the Sea of Suffering.

Within her body, the vast crystal Sea of Bitterness stirred faintly.

Her Sea of Suffering is a huge Grey ocean filled with surging with essence of life. The whole Sea of Suffering seems endless and flawless, there were marks of Taoism and Divine patterns imprinted in the Body.

Threads of chaotic qi drifted through it like primordial mist before the separation of heaven and earth. Each strand carried ancient resonance, as though her Wheel Sea had never truly to this era.

Her Fountain of Life refined drops of vitality which were tempered through the Chaotic Qi before merging into her body.

Her Divine Bridge shone with steady brilliance, revealing the other shore.

Ji Xue ran the Void Emperor's Sutra. Energy of Heaven and Earth was sucked into her body and hundreds of kilograms of pure source stones were consumed instantly.

The essence of heaven and earth entered her body, wandered through her internal organs and meridians, moistened her body, and circulated throughout her body.

Ji Xue recalled the medical knowledge she learned with Sages sometime ago and remembered all the Human Body acupoints

There is no way, she wasn't a medical student in her past life. So, she could only learn medical knowledge in this life.

The Human Body cultivation of the Zhetisn World was created by Shi Hao, the Emperor of Desolate Heaven.

It is believed that the Human Body has endless potential and it contains endless doors and mysteries. Shi Hao created the Human Body cultivation method to tap into the potential of Human body treasures.

With the opening of new doors of Human Body Treasures, the potential of the Body would become stronger and the strength would also become stronger.

"So, how to break the limit?" Ji Xue pondered.

As far as fan fics go, they all talk about Dao, Enlightenment, previous resources, etc to break through the limit. Some fan fics go as far as to use the Dao De Jing from their previous world as a cultivation method in this world.

It's totally inexplicable and illogical.

The one who looked somewhat normal was the original Shi Hao. He didn't have a systematic cheat and he relied entirely on his own effort to breakthrough the limit again and again.

Original True Explanation, Liu Shen, Supreme Bone, Iron will, Luck, and Hard work. It was all of them combined that created Shi Hao's future.

Of the five, she could only match the talent.

She didn't have an Immortal King in Nirvana like Liu Shen. Naturally, she couldn't obtain Original True Explanation which belonged to Liu Shen. She was also lazy and her will wasn't firm.

With such debuffs, Ji Xue had to ponder for a long time on it and today was the day to test her hypothesis.

She couldn't follow in Sho Hao's footsteps and she wasn't Chinese. She didn't know a single thing about Dao De Jing. But since Chinese Ancient Scriptures works, why can't others countries Ancient Scriptures do the same. China isn't the only one with its myth.

It's just, cultivation system is slightly more famous in modern era due to the popularity of Chinese novels.

Magic in the West.

Onmyōdō and Buddhism in the East.

Yoga, Chakra, and the cultivation of subtle bodies in the Indian myths.

Earth is full of wonders in Ji Xue's opinion.

She didn't about other myths but she knew about the Hindu Mythology like the back of her hand as her grandfather in the past life was a priest and her house owned a temple in India.

She had seen various sacred scriptures and TV shows about the myths and also heard about the Chakra cultivation system throughs books and novels.

Human body contains seven centres of power in Hindu mythology which is known as Chakra. Starting from the spine, they are: Muladhara (Root), Svadhisthana (Sacral), Manipura (Solar Plexus), Anahata (Heart), Vishuddha (Throat), Ajna (Third Eye), and Sahasrara (Crown). They manage physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being, with blockages causing imbalances

Although there was myth of Chakra cultivation, the modern era had no extraordinary power, so Ji Xue in the past didn't even consider learning about it. Her entire knowledge of it came from TV series and the stories she listened from her grandparents and aunts.

But if she was just relying on these bits and pieces, she certainly wouldn't be able to unlock Chakra (energy point).

This is where background comes in the play.

She may not have an Immortal King cheat but she has an Emperor Dad as a cheat.

She may not be able to gather bits and pieces of knowledge but could her Dad also not do it. Could hear mother not do it. That's impossible.

So, she had already discussed with Ji Daoyuan, Shen Caiji, and Ji Lingling over the dinner, about the chakra cultivation system.

Ji Xue still remembered the look of gratification and satisfaction her parents gave her back then. It made her extremely uncomfortable.

But anyways, setting that aside, her father was definitely a genius. From fragments in her mind, he successfully verified the feasibility of chakra cultivation system.

This path was feasible but it required vast amount of resources and a strong comprehension of law to impact the so called chakra point hidden in the body or rather the soul.

If the Human Body Cultivation focused on unlocking the treasures of the Body then the so called Chakra Cultivation focused on opening the treasures trove of the Soul.

If Human Body cultivated body first and soul later then chakra cultivated soul first and body later.

Since the path was feasible, Ji Xue naturally wanted to take this path.

But while Ji Daoyuan verified it's feasibility, he also explained a fatal problem to her. The concept of Chakra cultivation was grand but there was no corresponding method of cultivation.

If she wanted to cultivate it, she needed to create an entire new cultivation system. But creating a new cultivation was something that even Ji Daoyuan couldn't do in a short time, much less a weakling like Ji Xue.

Ji Xue once again regretted being too wasteful in her past life. If she has learned more, maybe, she could have unlocked the chakra cultivation system directly.
