"Go to sleep."
"Alright."
On the second day, Zheng Shaosu didn't come out of his room. The third day was the same.
Wu Qianqing was a bit worried. "He hasn't come out yet?"
"Yes." The agent replied. "Emperor Zheng not only hasn't left his room for two days, but he also won't allow anyone to knock on his door or bring anything inside."
Wu Qianqing knitted her brows. "I'll go check."
She got up and returned to the hotel, hesitated for a moment outside the door, and then knocked on Zheng Shaosu's door.
There was no response from inside for a long time.
"Zheng Shaosu!"
"Zheng Shaosu!"
After calling his name twice, she finally heard a sound from inside. Zheng Shaosu opened the door. His face looked somewhat haggard, with stubble casting a bluish shadow on his chin.
It had only been two days.
Yet he seemed as if he'd gone through a calamity.
"Are you alright?" Wu Qianqing handed him the lunch she brought.
Zheng Shaosu glanced at it and motioned for her to come in.
