Gu Xiaoer was standing in the middle of the office, wearing a worried expression, looking around incessantly.

Pei Xiyu was holding a few items, walked to the doorway of Gu Xiaoer's office, hesitated for a moment, and knocked on the door.
"Come in." Gu Xiaoer quickly sat back down to her seat, resuming a serious and upright demeanor.
The office door opened, Gu Xiaoer watched eagerly as someone came in, pulling a welcoming smile, "Did General Manager Chen assign me some work?"
"Uh... Assistant Gu, hello." Pei Xiyu seemed to find Gu Xiaoer a bit unusual, greeted shyly, "Sorry, no."
"Oh." Gu Xiaoer was a bit disappointed, "Then you are..."
