Their car had been driving for almost a whole day, and apart from eating something in the car at noon, they hadn't had dinner yet.
They needed to rest for a night at the town's inn.
Gu Jinbei glanced outside the window and then responded with a nod, "Okay."
Liu, the adjutant, skillfully directed the driver to park the car at an inn.
"Young Marshal, I'll go check if there are any rooms available."
He pushed the door open, walked in, and asked the innkeeper, "Sir, do you have any rooms available?"
The innkeeper glanced at him, smiling, "Officer, we only have two upper rooms left. There's still space in the common bunk."
Liu frowned, "Can't you arrange one more upper room?"
The innkeeper shook his head, "Officer, there really aren't any left, all other rooms are booked out, and it's so late, the guests are already asleep."
