Hu Xiaoyan was starting to regret it. She stood there frowning for a long time before finally gritting her teeth, picking the stuff up, and heading upstairs, stopping at that bedroom door.
"Lin Yebai? Lin Yebai, are you awake?"
"..."
No response. The person inside didn't seem to be awake yet!
Hearing that, she hesitated for a moment, then carried the breakfast inside anyway.
Last night while he was on the IV drip, he'd basically been out cold. His fever was too high, so when they left later, they didn't lock the door, to make it easier for Xiaojin and the others to look after him.
She pushed the door open and went in. Sure enough, the person lying on the bed inside really still wasn't awake. Someone usually so alert, and yet right now he was sleeping so deeply he didn't even notice her coming in.
