April 8th.
Mei Qiong was not ready to leave work on time yet.
But at the end of the workday, she received a call from He Ximeng.
He informed her that he was at the door.

Then he walked to the passenger side and opened the car door.
"Where to?"
Mei Qiong asked as she watched the man drive away.
"Capital Tower."
"For dinner."
Mei Qiong was silent for a moment, glanced at He Ximeng.
She wanted to say something, but the words retreated back to her mouth.
"Rumors need to be dispelled."
Perhaps He Ximeng noticed the doubt in her heart.
